The forecast for today's Patriots-Bills game calls for a chance of rain and 20 mph sustained winds with gusts over 30. That certainly puts a damper on the passing games. New England figured to go run-heavy anyway, so the bigger impact is on Josh Allen and Co. We'd also avoid both kickers in this game.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Bills have worked out a trade for WR Stefon Diggs. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero adds that Diggs and a 7th-round pick will go to Buffalo in exchange for 1st-, 5th- and 6th-round picks from the Bills plus a 4th-rounder in 2021. (Buffalo's Round 1 pick is #22.) Diggs won't turn 27 until late November and still has 4 years left on his current contract. He's coming off consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons, with a career-best 17.9 yards per catch in 2019. Diggs should challenge John Brown for the role of top WR in Buffalo, but the move isn't likely to help his fantasy outlook. The Bills have ranked among the league's most run-heavy offenses since before HC Sean McDermott arrived in 2017. In addition to Brown, WR Cole Beasley remains to eat up some targets. Add in QB Josh Allen's accuracy issues, and you get a potentially frustrating fantasy outlook for Diggs. The new guy's arrival also dings the fantasy outlooks for Brown and Beasley, though Diggs can only help Allen's upside. Minnesota, meanwhile, finds a gaping hole in its WR corps opposite Adam Thielen. We'll see how the Vikings address that need this offseason.

We're going to be smart with that, but it's important that we get work in fundamentally and in terms of execution and we stay as sharp as can be." Translation: Expect most starters to play. Don't expect any key guys to make it past halftime. We'd plan on not using QB Josh Allen, RB Devin Singletary or the WRs, if you can help it.

The forecast for today's Eagles-Bills game calls for a 30% chance of rain with winds of 27-32 mph. Gusts could reach 40 mph. That's more that enough to impact the passing and kicking games. We've just updated our projections for all the players in this game.

Bills WR Robert Foster has been working with the backups early in training camp, according to the Buffalo News. The 1st-team offense has featured John Brown and Zay Jones as the outside WRs, with Cole Beasley in the slot. There's obviously plenty of time for Foster to make a move up the depth chart. But until we hear that he's running with the starters, he shouldn't be drafted as more than a late-round flier.

Bills WR Cole Beasley had core-muscle surgery "a few weeks ago," HC Sean McDermott said Tuesday. McDermott didn't give a timetable for Beasley's return, but he figures to be ready by the time training camp rolls around. We'll keep an eye on him. Beasley looks like a low-upside PPR option for 2019.

The Bills have added Cole Beasley to their WR corps on a 4-year, $29 million deal. He's quietly averaged 57 catches on a 70.6% catch rate over the past 4 seasons. But Beasley has averaged just 10.3 yards per catch during that span with 17 total TDs. He's a pure slot receiver who will run most of his routes near the line of scrimmage. That makes him an awkward fit with QB Josh Allen. Beasley's addition spells trouble for WR Zay Jones, who's posted an abysmal 47.2% catch rate over his first 2 NFL seasons. Jones ran 48% of his routes from the slot last year.

Cowboys WR Cole Beasley (ankle) and TE Blake Jarwin (ankle) are active for tonight's game against the Rams. Both guys figure to be at far less than 100% after missing practice all week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the "plan is for both to work out pregame and both be active," adding that Jarwin "has a better chance to play." Beasley's not worth waiting on for fantasy use. Even if he's active, he'll face a tough coverage matchup in slot CB Nickell Robey-Coleman, Pro Football Focus' highest-graded Rams corner. Jarwin will be worth DFS consideration against a Rams D that allowed the 10th most TE receptions this season. He'd obviously still carry durability risk, though. We'll confirm their statuses 90 minutes before kickoff.

Beasley is fighting for snaps in a wide-open Dallas WR corps, but this injury obviously isn't helping his cause. He's not worth a redraft roster spot right now.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is off to an uneven start to training camp. “Well, we’re a work in progress,” OC Scott Linehan said. “We’re not where we want to be, but there’s bright spots, things we build on." It's early, and this shouldn't come as a major surprise considering the wholesale changes to Dallas' pass-catching corps. But in a time of the year when everyone is "in the best shape of their lives" and "ready for a breakout season," it's notable to hear a negative report on an offense. We'll be keeping a close eye on the Cowboys this preseason, but this isn't a passing game we're looking to invest in heavily.
