Rams WR Danny Amendola (foot) is in a walking boot.  He obviously didn't practice on Wednesday.  Amendola managed to play through the injury last week, but he's looking extremely iffy for this Sunday's game against the Cardinals.  We'll have another update tomorrow.

Rams insider Jim Thomas says WR Danny Amendola is unlikely to practice much this week after suffering a heel/foot injury in Sunday's game against the Jets.  He's also reportedly dealing with soreness in his previously injured shoulder.  Despite the ailments, Amendola was on the field for 58 of St. Louis' 70 offensive snaps this past weekend.  We'll keep an eye on him over the next few days, but he should be able to play against the Cardinals on Sunday.

3:09pm EST 11/11/12

As expected, Rams WR Danny Amendola (clavicle) is active for today's game against the 49ers.  He'll play with a specially made brace on that shoulder in his first action since Week 5.  Amendola should immediately step back in as St. Louis' top option in the passing game.

Rams WR Danny Amendola (clavicle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers. All signs point to Amendola playing though. He'll be a risky fantasy start in his first action since Week 5. It's a tough matchup too. But Amendola was averaging 6.4 catches and 79 yards per game before going down. He's worth using as a WR3, especially in PPR leagues.

Rams WR Danny Amendola (collarbone) confirmed that he'll be ready to go coming out of this week's bye.  "I'm ready to come back and I'm ready to do what I can," he said. "It's feeling good right now, I have full range of motion and strength and everything."  Amendola has been putting in limited practices for a week now.  Look for him to graduate to full workouts next week.  He should immediately re-enter the starting lineup as QB Sam Bradford's top target.  In 4 full games before going down, Amendola racked up 31 catches, 351 yards, and 2 scores.  He was sitting 11th among WRs in standard-scoring fantasy leagues -- and top 10 in PPR.  Amendola is worth grabbing right now in all formats.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen confirms that Rams WR Danny Amendola (collarbone) will be inactive for today's game against the Patriots.  He returned to limited practices this week but was always a long shot to play just 3 weeks after fracturing his collarbone.  St. Louis is off in Week 9, so look for Amendola to return for Week 10.  He should immediately regain WR3 value in PPR leagues.

Rams WR Danny Amendola (collarbone) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots.  He was limited in practice all week but didn't take any contact.  A team source says Amendola is "definitely doubtful," but adds that, "you have to understand how tough he is."  With St. Louis' bye coming next week, we're expecting Amendola to be inactive on Sunday.  Brandon Gibson and Chris Givens will once again serve as the Rams' top 2 WRs.  They're low-end WR3s in fantasy.

NFL Network's Albert Breer confirms that Rams WR Danny Amendola (collarbone) is not expected to play against the Patriots this Sunday.  Amendola returned to a limited practice on Wednesday, but that's likely a case of the team starting to work him back into game shape.  Amendola is still only 3 weeks into what was believed to be a 6-7 week recovery timetable.  St. Louis is off Week 9, but Amendola might be ready to return for Week 10.  He's worth adding now in PPR leagues.

Rams WR Danny Amendola (collarbone) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday.  It's his first workout since going down back in Week 5.  Amendola's status for this weekend's game against the Patriots is still unclear, but it looks like he's close to a return.  Amendola is worth rostering in all PPR leagues.

Rams WR Danny Amendola has officially been diagnosed with a dislocated clavicle.  According to a team source, he's expected to be sidelined 6-7 weeks.  That'd put Amendola back on the field for Week 12 or 13.  It's possible that Amendola will be an asset for the fantasy playoffs, but don't feel like you need to hang on to him if you need help elsewhere.

According to a team source, Rams WR Danny Amendola has a broken collarbone.  That comes with a 4-6 week timetable.  Don't expect to see him back on the field until November.  St. Louis' WR corps goes from ugly to hideous.  Amendola's absence should open up more snaps for rookies Chris Givens and Brian Quick.  WR Steve Smith might see some action in the slot too.  None of these guys will be anything more than desperation fantasy options though.

Rams WR Danny Amendola has been ruled out for the rest of Thursday night's game against the Cardinals.  He had his shoulder slammed to the ground and was in obvious pain walking off the field.  Amendola was shown slamming his helmet in disgust in the tunnel.  It doesn't look good for him.  We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Update: Jason La Canfora reports that the Rams "fear" Amendola has a broken collarbone.  That'd cost him over a month.  We'll find out for sure on Friday.

Rams insider Jeff Gordon confirms that Rams WR Danny Amendola "remains as the clear No. 1 receiving target."  Amendola is completely recovered from last year's arm injury and has been drawing rave reviews in camp.  "He is a great fit for the Schottenheimer offense, which features some of the West Coast principles the Rams deployed two years ago when Danny broke out," Gordon writes.  Amendola, of course, reeled in 85 balls that season.  He's a long shot to hit that mark in 2012 -- the Rams have more options now -- but Amendola could still be a valuable PPR asset.

Rams WR Danny Amendola participated in a team workout on Monday and declared himself back to 100% after last year's season-ending elbow and tricep injuries.  "I'm good," he said. "I did everything. I'll continue to do everything and continue to try to get better every day."   Amendola was able to start strengthening the arm again in December and spent the offseason at the team's facility rehabbing the injury.  "I've got range of motion and full strength back," Amendola said. "I'll continue to work on the little stuff, just to get finely tuned. But mostly it's all the way back."  The injury shouldn't be a factor this season, but Amendola will be battling WR Steve Smith for snaps in the slot.

The Rams have officially placed WR Danny Amendola on the IR. He’ll undergo surgery to repair a small tear in his triceps, and recovery is expected to take about 4 months. It means that he’ll be at 100% for OTAs next year.

Fox Sports' Adam Caplan reports that Rams WR Danny Amendola is expected to miss the rest of the 2011 season.  It's a major loss for a Rams offense that ranks 26th in passing through 4 weeks.  Rookies Austin Pettis and Greg Salas have both struggled trying to replace Amendola as St. Louis' slot receiver.  It sounds like Amendola suffered a torn tricep in practice last week and will need to undergo surgery.  There's been no official announcement from the team yet, but fantasy owners in redraft leagues can drop Amendola to free up a roster spot.

Rams WR Danny Amendola will go for a 2nd opinion on his elbow after re-injuring it in practice this week.  HC Steve Spagnuolo said that Amendola may need surgery, although nothing has been confirmed.  Surgery could knock him out for the rest of the year, which would be a crippling blow to a struggling offense.  We should get another update on Amendola later this week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Rams WR Danny Amendola injured his triceps during practice this past week.  It sounds like it's related to the elbow injury that's kept him out since the season-opener.  Amendola was expected to return after the team's Week 5 bye, but Schefter says his status is now "uncertain."  He's visiting a specialist on Monday, so hopefully we'll learn more later this week.  Amendola is still worth hanging on to in PPR leagues.

11:38am EDT 10/2/11

As expected, Rams WR Danny Amendola (elbow) is inactive for today's game against the Redskins.  He'll be back after the team's Week 5 bye.

Although he's listed as questionable, Rams WR Danny Amendola (elbow) didn't practice on Friday and isn't expected to play against the Redskins this Sunday.  He should be back after St. Louis' Week 5 bye.
