As expected, Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) is active for tonight's game against the Broncos.  RBs Mike Goodson (ankle) and Marcel Reece (hamstring, quad) are active too.  We're looking at a committee attack here, but McFadden is our bet to lead the backfield in touches.  Still, he's just a RB3 or flex against a stout Broncos defense.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) is probable for Thursday night's game against the Broncos.  He turned in a good couple days of practice and was listed as a full participant on Wednesday.  With RB Marcel Reece banged-up, we're expecting McFadden to lead Oakland's backfield in touches tomorrow night.  Still, it'll be his first game-action since early-November.  And it's a tough matchup.  To see our Week 14 projections for Run DMC, click here.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) turned in a productive practice on Tuesday.  "He looked good today," RB coach Kelly Skipper said.  "You could see him cut and bursting off the foot."  McFadden should be close to 100% healthy now.  And with RB Marcel Reece banged-up, Run DMC is looking at a healthy workload in his return on Thursday night.  It's a tough draw against Denver's 7th-ranked RB defense, but McFadden will be worth a look as a risk/reward RB2.

Raiders RB Marcel Reece is dealing with hamstring and quad injuries.  It explains why he touched the ball just twice in the 2nd half of last weekend's game.  It's unclear if Reece will be available for Thursday night's game against the Broncos.  But with RB Darren McFadden set to return, Reece won't be a recommended fantasy option regardless.

Raiders HC Dennis Allen confirmed after Sunday's game that RB Darren McFadden (ankle) is expected to play against the Broncos on Thursday night.  McFadden practiced all last week but wasn't quite ready to go today.  With RB Marcel Reece appearing to lose lead ball-carrying duties, McFadden could step right back in as the primary back.  He'll be a risk/reward fantasy option for Week 14.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) is inactive for today’s game against Cleveland. With Mike Goodson (ankle) also sidelined, Marcel Reece will hog the backfield touches for yet another week. He remains a solid RB2 option.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) is "unlikely" to play against the Browns later today.  It's a bit surprising because he practiced all week.  But McFadden is still only 4 weeks removed from a high-ankle sprain and has never been a quick healer.  No word on whether or not RB Mike Goodson (ankle) will play today, but Marcel Reece will serve as the lead back regardless.  He's a solid RB2 option.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) made it through a week of limited practices.  He's listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt against the Browns.  RB Mike Goodson is in the same boat.  Even if McFadden is active, we're not expecting him to see more than 10-12 touches.  Trusted Raiders insider Jerry McDonald expects RB Marcel Reece to get "lots of work."  Reece is the best fantasy option in Oakland's backfield this week.  And with the 4:25 pm ET start time, McFadden is better off on your bench.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) put in another limited practice on Thursday.  He remains on track to return for this weekend's game against the Browns.  RB Mike Goodson (ankle) is in the same boat.  OC Greg Knapp also confirmed that Marcel Reece will continue to see action at RB.  We've got a full blown committee on our hands here.  Consider McFadden and Reece risky RB3 or flex options for Week 13.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) put in a limited practice on Wednesday -- his first since going down in early-November.  Now almost 4 weeks removed from that high-ankle sprain, McFadden has a good chance to play against the Browns this Sunday.  He's unlikely to return to a full workload, though, especially with how well RB Marcel Reece has played in his absence.  Both guys are looking like RB3 or flex plays against an improving Browns defense.

According to Raiders insider Vic Tafur, Darren McFadden's teammates are expecting the RB back for Sunday's game against the Browns.  Tafur is a reliable Raiders source, so it's encouraging news for Run DMC.  Still, he's only 3 weeks removed from a high-ankle sprain -- an injury that usually takes 4-6 weeks to return from.  And McFadden has yet to get back on the practice field.  We'll see if he can do so on Wednesday, but we'd still consider him iffy for Week 13.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden is out for Sunday's game against the Bengals.  He was unable to practice all week, so a Week 13 return is looking iffy at best.  RB Mike Goodson is also out for Sunday, meaning another healthy workload for the red-hot Marcel Reece.  He's a strong RB2 for fantasy squads.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) was unable to get back on the practice field Wednesday.  He's unlikely to play against the Bengals this weekend.  It'll be his 3rd straight missed game.  Dealing with a high-ankle sprain, McFadden could still miss another 1-3 weeks beyond that.  RB Marcel Reece will continue to be a solid RB2 as long as McFadden is out.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Saints. He didn't practice all week and should be considered questionable at best for Week 12. RB Mike Goodson (ankle) also remains out. RB Marcel Reece will once again function as Oakland's lead back. He's a RB2 with upside in a plus, plus matchup.

Yahoo's Jason Cole hears that Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) is "feeling better."  That's good news after we learned Run DMC was still in a walking boot as of Monday.  It's unclear if he's shed that yet.  Cole adds that McFadden remains "iffy" for this Sunday but "should play" in Week 12.  We're not expecting McFadden to return this week and would still consider him questionable at best for Week 12.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden is still in a walking boot as of Monday.  We've heard some optimism that McFadden could be back for Week 11, but that seems unlikely.  If he's truly dealing with a high-ankle sprain, he'll probably be sidelined another 2-3 weeks.  In the meantime, RB Marcel Reece looks like Oakland clear-cut lead back.  He's a RB2 option in fantasy.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Ravens.  No surprise there.  A notoriously slow healer dealing with a high-ankle sprain, McFadden is looking at a multi-week absence.  RB Mike Goodson has been ruled out with the same injury.  It sounds like RB Taiwan Jones will get the start for Oakland, but Marcel Reece will play plenty too.  His involvement in the passing game makes him the safer fantasy option.  Jones is a risk/reward RB3 or flex option.

As expected, Raiders RB Darren McFadden (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.  The team hasn't ruled him out yet for Sunday's game against the Ravens, but Run DMC is an extreme long shot with that high-ankle sprain.  RB Mike Goodson was also out Wednesday with the same injury.  He won't play this weekend either.  We're expected Marcel Reece to lead the Oakland backfield in touches, with Taiwan Jones mixing in too.
