The Titans have released TE Delanie Walker. Walker racked up 381 catches across 7 seasons with Tennessee but played in just 8 total games over the past 2 seasons because of injuries. He has said he plans to play again in 2020 but will turn 36 in August. Jonnu Smith stands as the lead TE with Walker gone and will carry upside from his TE2 ADP if he remains in that spot. Tennessee also released K Ryan Succop.

The Titans have placed TE Delanie Walker (ankle) on IR. The 35-year-old has played in just 8 games over the past 2 seasons and might be at the end of his road. Jonnu Smith will operate as Tennessee's lead pass-catching TE the rest of the way, although he's tough to trust in Week 13 fantasy lineups after going target-less last week.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) is inactive for today's game against the Jaguars. Jonnu Smith will continue to serve as Tennessee’s lead TE and is a lower-end TE1 play in fantasy lineups.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) returned to limited practices this week but is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. So Jonnu Smith gets another game as Tennessee's lead TE. He's averaged 6 targets in his last 3 outings and is a low-end TE1 option.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. That gives him a shot to return for this weekend's game against the Jaguars after missing the previous 3 games. It's unclear how Tennessee would divvy playing time between Walker and Jonnu Smith.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) remained sidelined all week and is out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. TE Jonnu Smith remains on the TE1 radar, especially with WR Corey Davis (hip) out.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Panthers. That keeps Jonnu Smith in TE1 territory after last week’s 6-78-1 line.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. That doesn't bode well for his chances of returning for this weekend's game against the Panthers. Walker's absence would keep Jonnu Smith in TE1 territory.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Bucs. That leaves lead duties to TE Jonnu Smith, who played 82% of the snaps last week and posted a 3-64 line. He’s squarely on the Week 8 spot-start radar vs. Tampa’s 31st-ranked TE defense.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) was sidelined for Wednesday's practice. He's been banged-up for most of the season and lasted just 5 snaps last weekend. It'd make sense for Tennessee to hold him out until he's back to 100%. Walker's absence on Sunday vs. the Bucs would make TE Jonnu Smith a viable spot starter.

Titans TE Delanie Walker re-injured his ankle in the 1st half of Sunday's game against the Chargers and is questionable to return. The 35-year-old hasn't been right for about a month now.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (knee) is active for today’s game against the Chargers. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but didn't practice on Friday. Walker has been dealing with this knee issue since Week 4, totaling just 5 catches for 57 scoreless yards over the last 3 games. He's a shaky Week 7 fantasy play.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game against the Chargers. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but didn't practice on Friday. Walker has been dealing with this knee issue since Week 4, totaling just 5 catches for 57 scoreless yards over the last 3 games. He's a shaky Week 7 fantasy play -- assuming he ends up active.

After sitting out on Wednesday, Titans TE Delanie Walker (knee) put in a full practice Thursday. That's an upgrade from last week, when Walker only practiced on Friday. He played a season-low 31% of the snaps and caught just 1 ball last week -- and we're inclined to believe that knee was a factor. It looks like Walker is healthier heading into Week 5.

Titans TE Delanie Walker missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, listed on the injury report with a knee issue. But the veteran put in a full workout Friday and didn't appear on the final injury report with game statuses. We'll watch for any reports on his health through the weekend, but this looks like a maintenance thing for the 35-year-old. Walker faces a nice fantasy matchup at Atlanta.

Titans TE Delanie Walker practiced without limitations from the start of training camp this week, according to The Tennessean. “I feel great,” Walker told the team website. “The type of injury I had, I still have to be smart. But I feel great. I am out there running, and I did the conditioning test – no problems there. I feel good." We'll keep an eye out for setbacks as Walker returns from last year's ankle injury, but he's a decent shot to take with an ADP in the middle of TE2 territory in fantasy football drafts.

Titans TE Delanie Walker participated in 7-on-7 drills this week, according to ESPN's Turron Davenport. That doesn't necessarily mean Walker's repaired ankle will be ready for full participation at the start of training camp, but it sure seems like a big step in that direction. Walker deemed himself 85% healthy earlier in May. As just the 17th TE off the board in PlayDraft ADP right now, Walker looks like a solid-to-strong best-ball value.

Titans TE Delanie Walker says he's at "85%" as he rehabs last September's fractured and dislocated right ankle. "Today I felt fast getting out of my breaks, and I was catching the ball well," he added after Tuesday's OTA. Walker was a full-go in individual drills but did very little in team work, according to the Nashville Tennessean. Prior to last year, Walker had finished as a top-11 TE in 5 straight seasons. He's capable of returning to that level of production if healthy. But the ankle is a real concern for the soon-to-be 35-year-old. We'll keep a close eye on him this summer.

Titans TE Delanie Walker tells ESPN's Turron Davenport that his goal is to be ready to run and catch footballs at OTAs. Walker fractured and dislocated his right ankle in the 2018 season opener and missed the rest of the year. Walker will be 35 when the 2019 season begins. Tennessee will be incorporating a new OC, but Arthur Smith spent the past 6 years coaching Titans TEs. At TE18 in PlayDraft best-ball ADP right now, Walker is a fine shot to take in early drafting. TE Jonnu Smith proved inconsistent in Walker's absence last year.
