Jake Ferguson Will Play Week 18

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) is not listed on the final Week 18 injury report. He’ll play vs. the Giants this weekend after getting knocked out of the win over the Commanders on Christmas. The calf issue adds risk to Ferguson’s Week 18 profile, but there’s nice TD upside here with Dallas sporting a 26.5-point implied total.

Jake Ferguson Back At Practice Thursday

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) returned to a limited practice on Thursday. It surprisingly seems like he might try to suit up for this weekend's meaningless finale vs. the Giants. We'll see how Ferguson is listed on Friday's final injury report.

Jake Ferguson Exits With Calf Injury

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson was knocked out in the first half of Thursday's game vs. the Commanders with a calf injury. He caught one of two targets for a six-yard TD before exiting. Ferguson's absence left Dallas' TE room to Luke Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford. It'll be a situation to avoid in fantasy lineups if Ferguson misses next weekend's finale vs. the Giants.

        Jake Ferguson Active

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Vikings. He seemingly hurt his calf on Wednesday, did not practice on Thursday, but was able to return to a limited practice on Friday. That adds some risk to Ferguson’s Week 15 fantasy profile, but he’s available if you were waiting on him.

Jake Ferguson Expected To Play Week 15

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) is expected to play vs. the Vikings tonight, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Ferguson seemingly hurt his calf on Wednesday and didn't practice on Thursday. But he returned to a limited practice on Friday, and EVP Stephen Jones sounded optimistic about his status at that point. Unless we hear otherwise, Ferguson seems relatively safe to stay in fantasy lineups.

Jake Ferguson Questionable For Week 15

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Vikings. It looks like he hurt his calf on Wednesday. Ferguson didn’t practice on Thursday but returned to a limited workout on Friday. "I think we're gonna be good,” EVP Stephen Jones said Friday. “He had a good day today, which is what we were looking for. Barring a setback ... the expectation is for him to go [Sunday night]." Ferguson can stay penciled into fantasy lineups for now, although the calf adds risk to his Week 15 outlook. We’ll look for further updates on his status.

        Jake Ferguson Sidelined Thursday

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson (calf) followed a limited practice on Wednesday with no practice on Thursday. It now looks like he hurt his calf in Wednesday's practice, although we don't have confirmation on that. We'll see if Ferguson practices tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for Sunday night's game vs. the Vikings. His absence would leave TE duties to Luke Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford -- but neither would be a bankable fantasy start.

        Jake Ferguson Hurts Left Leg

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson suffered an apparent left leg injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. He was in obvious pain getting off the field, but the team never announced an injury. We’ll look for an update on Ferguson’s status on Monday. He had a big fantasy outing before exiting, catching 7 of 9 targets for 49 yards and 2 TDs.

CeeDee Lamb & KaVontae Turpin Out For Week 5

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. He did rehab work off to the side throughout the week and is "progressing well,” HC Brian Schottenheimer said. We’ll see if Lamb can make it back for Week 6. Dallas will also be without WR KaVontae Turpin (foot) on Sunday. That leaves WRs Jalen Tolbert and Ryan Flournoy behind George Pickens. Expect Pickens and TE Jake Ferguson to dominate targets again.

CeeDee Lamb Dominates Targets on Sluggish Passing Night

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb delivered a 7-110-0 receiving line in a Thursday night loss to the Eagles that found the rest of his pass offense contributing nearly nothing. Lamb's 13 targets marked a 38.3% share of QB Dak Prescott's 34 total pass attempts. His 7 catches accounted for 33.3% of the team's total, while the 110 receiving yards made for a 58.5% share.

Stability at TE: Ferguson and Cowboys Agree on New Deal

Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson signed a four-year extension worth $52 million with $30 million guaranteed (including a $12 million signing bonus). This contract sets him up as the seventh-highest-paid TE in the NFL. Ferguson's consistency as a reliable pass catcher (and blocker) for QB Dak Prescott earned him the extension, adding continuity at the position for the Cowboys.
