Cardinals HC Bruce Arians says WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is making "some progress."  He was unable to practice on Wednesday, though, and remains iffy for this weekend's game against the Falcons.  Even if Fitz suits up for that one, he'll be tough to trust in fantasy lineups.

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said Monday that the team is still "waiting to see" if WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) will be ready for this weekend's game against the Falcons.  Fitz didn't seem particularly close to playing yesterday, and Arians admitted that he wouldn't be able to go if there was a practice on Monday.  Fitzgerald's Grade 2 MCL sprain is a 2-4 week injury, so consider him worse than 50-50 to play against Atlanta.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that "it would take a miracle" for Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald to play against the Seahawks today.  Fitz is dealing with a Grade 2 MCL sprain, which is a partial tear of the ligament.  Even if he's active later this afternoon, he won't be anywhere close to 100%.  Fitzgerald needs to be on fantasy benches.  Look for John Brown and Michael Floyd to serve as Arizona's top 2 WRs against a tough Seahawks secondary.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 sprained MCL.  It's a partial tear of the ligament.  He played through the injury yesterday and said Monday that he expects to play in the Week 12 showdown with the Seahawks.  But between the injury and that matchup, Fitz will be a shaky fantasy starter.  We'll keep an eye on him throughout the week.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his right knee on Monday.  He suffered an MCL injury late in the 1st half of Sunday's win over the Lions.  Fitz was able to return for the 2nd half but caught just 1 ball on 1 target over the final 30 minutes.  We'll look for an update on his status tomorrow.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer will travel to Denver on Friday for additional treatment on his throwing shoulder.  He's put in 2 limited practices this week but clearly isn't ready to return to game action.  QB Drew Stanton is still in the concussion protocol and seems worse than 50-50 to be cleared in time for Sunday's game against the Redskins.  That'd leave rookie Logan Thomas under center for Arizona.  He went 1-of-8 against Denver last weekend.  Thomas won't be a fantasy option and is a massive downgrade for WRs Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald.

Cardinals QB Carson Palmer (shoulder) will not play against the Giants today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.  Palmer tested his sore shoulder in warmups and didn't feel good.  QB Drew Stanton will start in his place.  It'll be his first regular-season action since 2010.  Stanton can't be trusted in fantasy lineups.  Downgrade Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald to WR3 territory.

Cardinals insider Mike Jurecki notes that WR Larry Fitzgerald was dealing with an MCL sprain last week.  Fitz was listed on the Week 1 injury report with a knee but practiced in full all week.  Still, the knee issue might explain why he was on  the sidelines for 10 plays in the opener and saw just 4 targets.  Fitzgerald is not listed on the Week 2 injury report.  We'd keep him locked into fantasy lineups today, regardless of QB Carson Palmer's status.

The Cardinals have signed LT Jared Veldheer to a 5-year, $35 million deal.  The 26-year-old is the youngest of the top free-agent OTs.  Veldheer missed most of last season with a triceps injury but finished 12th among 80 OTs in Pro Football Focus' 2012 rankings.  He's a significant upgrade for the Cardinals -- and good news for the fantasy prospects of QB Carson Palmer, RB Andre Ellington and WRs Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd.

The Cardinals and WR Larry Fitzgerald have agreed to a restructured contract.  The new deal saves Arizona $9.4 million against the salary cap this year.  There were whispers that Fitz could be traded or even released this offseason, but this news guarantees that he'll stick in the desert.  At least for 2014.  Fitzgerald's new contract comes with a $23.6 million cap hit in 2015.  He and the Cardinals will need to re-work the deal again if he wants to remain in Arizona.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (concussion) is expected to play against the Seahawks today.  He made it through the week without a setback.  Despite the 4:05 pm ET kickoff, fantasy owners can safely get Fitz into starting lineups.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (concussion) put in a full practice on Thursday and confirmed that he expects to play against the Seahawks this weekend.  “This is my first (concussion), uncharted territory for me,” Fitz said. “It’s a serious issue, but I want to be out there and play."  He'll undergo 1 final test on Friday.  Barring a setback, Fitzgerald will be available for his usual role against Seattle's 3rd-ranked WR defense.
