Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (concussion) returned to practice on Thursday.  He even participated in an onsides-kick-recovery drill.  He's on track to play against the Seahawks on Sunday, barring a setback between now and then.  He'll be a low-end WR2 in that matchup.

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said Tuesday that he expects WR Larry Fitzgerald (concussion) to play against the Seahawks this weekend.  All reports on Fitz's status have been positive, but the fact remains that he needs to pass through the league's concussion protocol in order to play.  Fantasy owners can pencil him into fantasy lineups but should also have a backup plan in place.  We'll continue to monitor Fitzgerald's progress this week.

Tomorrow I will see another neurologist to get another independent look.  At that point it’s just about how I feel going through the week. Cardinals HC Bruce Arians labeled QB Carson Palmer a game-time decision for Week 14 due to his right (throwing) elbow injury.  Palmer played through the injury last Sunday but was extremely limited in practice this week.  He only threw short passes and was sporting a sleeve on the elbow.  Arians expects Palmer to play, but the bum throwing arm makes him a risky fantasy option.  We moved him -- as well as WRs Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd -- down our Week 14 Rankings.  QB Drew Stanton will start for Arizona if Palmer can't.

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said Tuesday that he was considering giving WR Larry Fitzgerald the day off Wednesday.  Instead, the Arizona star participated in full.  That indicates that his hamstring troubles are passing and he's approaching 100%.  If the reports remain good throughout the week, Fitzgerald would carry big fantasy upside into a matchup with Atlanta's flammable secondary on Sunday.

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians says the extra time off after last Thursday night's game has "really helped" WR Larry Fitzgerald and his bum hamstring.  Arians estimated that Fitz was at 80% for that loss to the Seahawks.  He hasn't been 100% since originally injuring that hammy in Week 1.  The Cardinals are planning on giving him another day off on Wednesday.  "I wanna see that thing healed up 100%," Arians said.  This extra rest -- plus a Week 9 bye -- will hopefully have Fitz a full-go for the stretch run.

Cardinals insider Kent Somers reports that WR Larry Fitzgerald played through a right hamstring injury on Sunday.  It was the left hammy that was bothering him earlier this season.  Fitz looked just fine against the 49ers -- going for 117 yards and a score -- but "could barely bend over in the locker room" afterward, per Somers.  It's certainly something to monitor with the Cardinals having just a few days off before Thursday night's game against the Seahawks.
