Cardinals WRs Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin are both active for today's game vs. Atlanta.

Both Larry Fitzgerald & Anquan Boldin are active. We'd start Fitzgerald but not Boldin. Bryant Johnson is still a great WR3 in 12-team leagues this week.

Like fellow WR Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald is also a game-time decision for Sunday. He was limited in practice today. Fitz seems much more likely to play than Boldin, though.

FOX's John Czarnecki reports: "Arizona QB Kurt Warner said Saturday night that he doesn't expect either Larry Fitzgerald (groin) or Anquan Boldin (dislocated left big toe) to play, although the Cardinals are hopeful that Fitzgerald will be available." For the record, Czarnecki has been wildly inaccurate at times this year. His "Czar" report goes up late Saturday nights at 2:00 am when he should be in bed.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (groin) was limited in practice on Wednesday. However, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, "[Fitzgerald] said it felt much better than it did last week, and he's hopeful of playing on Sunday."

Cardinals WR Sean Morey practiced with the first team in place of Anquan Boldin (toe) and Larry Fitzgerald (groin) on Wednesday. More news available later today.

From today's email update which should have already hit your inbox: Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald was limited for the 3rd straight day Friday with a strained groin. He's listed as questionable but coach Ken Whisenhunt came right out and said he's a game-time decision. It's a 4:05 pm game too, which really sucks. Bryant Johnson could be a huge pickup.

Cardinals beat writer Mike Tulumello writes: "Larry Fitzgerald is listed as questionable Sunday vs. Cleveland with a sore groin. Fitzgerald did a little more in practice Friday than earlier in the week. 'Heâ??s definitely feeling better,' coach Ken Whisenhunt said. Whisenhunt said Fitzgerald will work out Sunday morning before the game [at 4:05], then a determination on his status will be made."

ESPN's John Clayton just said "it looks like Larry Fitzgerald will miss this game" against Cleveland.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald has been deemed inactive today against the Browns. WR Bryant Johnson will start in his place and makes an solid fantasy spot-start.

Cardinals HC Ken Whisenhunt mentioned some of his guys playing through injuries and named Larry Fitzgerald (shoulder) as one of them. "It sets the right tone for your football team," he said. We've never heard about a shoulder injury but you can't tell from his play - Fitzgerald's caught 26 passes over his last 4 games with 3 TDs.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald almost caught a 79-yard TD pass last week from... Anquan Boldin. Boldin, a former Florida State quarterback took a reverse and wound up to heave it 60 yards â?? but Texans safety C.C. Brown committed interference to prevent the catch. Boldin laughed when asked about Fitz not making the play. "He's supposed to sell it a little more, not go [downfield] so soon. That's something that we'll work out during the season."

Dennis Green on WR Larry Fitzgerald, who left the game in the 4th quarter with soreness in his bad hammy: "He should be able to play. I think he'll get a couple days rest. But when you get down to it, I think he'll be able to play [vs. Detroit]." He had a delightful 6 catches for 80 yards in his first game back so hopefully we won't lose him again.

The East Valley Tribune reports Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) practiced Monday and is probable for week 10. We know Darren Urban at the Tribune, he's usually very solid with his info. One thing: He's using the term "probable" as his own assessment because official NFL injury reports aren't faxed out until Wednesday afternoons. But it does appear that Fitzgerald is preparing for his return.

ESPN Insider reports Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald will not only miss this Sunday's game (his 3rd straight), but week 10's game vs. Dallas after the bye. That would put him back in week 11 for a home game vs. Detroit.

The Cardinals have deactivated Fitzgerald for today's road game against the Green Bay Packers. HC Denny Green was hopeful to have him back this week. Arizona is off in Week 9 so look for Fitzgerald to return in 2 weeks.
