We'll see about Leonard's participation Friday. The ankle issue kept him out of Friday practice last week, but he then carried no injury designation into the game against the Seahawks and saw full playing time.

The Colts have agreed to a 5-year extension with LB Darius Leonard, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The contract will be worth $99.25 million in total, with $52.5 million guaranteed. We didn't need affirmation that Leonard belongs atop the hill at LB, but it's good to know his situation won't be changing for a while.

Leonard hasn't played since Week 4 because of a groin injury but put in a pair of full practices to close out the week. Houston played in Indy's last game but was clearly limited by a hip injury. That issue didn't even show up on this week's injury report, though. Both look ready for normal usage in IDP lineups. Leonard's return figures to lower the playing time for at least 1 of the Colts' other LBs. Anthony Walker sat 3rd in that line before Leonard went down.

Leonard's continued absence upgrades LB Anthony Walker, who moved up our LB rankings late this week. Elsewhere on the defense, DE Justin Houston (hip) and DE Denico Autry (ankle, knee) are questionable for the game -- and each had goofy practice weeks. Houston missed practice Wednesday and Friday, sandwiching a limited Thursday. Autry sat out the first 2 days but then returned for a full Friday workout. We'll check the status for both players Sunday morning. It's an upside matchup for all Colts pass-rushers against a Cincinnati offense that has allowed the most sacks in the league.
