Tory Horton Full Go at Camp After Cracked Tibia...But Still Off Redraft Radar

Seahawks WR Tory Horton avoided the PUP list to open training camp after a cracked tibia cost him the final nine regular-season games and the playoffs. Horton told ESPN’s Brady Henderson that he first felt the injury in Week 3, and it only worsened from there. He underwent surgery in February to have a rod implanted in his leg but is a full go for the start of training camp.

Seahawks Don't Let Rashid Shaheed Leave

The Seahawks have agreed to a three-year deal with WR Rashid Shaheed. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that it'll pay $51 million in total, with $34.7 million of that guaranteed. Seattle traded fourth- and fifth-round picks to the Saints for Shaheed ahead of last season's trade deadline.

        Tory Horton Placed On IR

The Seahawks placed WR Tory Horton (shin) on IR. He was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans but will now miss at least three more. That makes Week 16 his earliest possible return. Horton can be dropped from all redraft rosters but remains a nice stash in dynasty leagues. The rookie posted a 4-48-2 line in his only game with a snap rate north of 54% this season.

Cooper Kupp Active, Tory Horton INACTIVE

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel) is active for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. He was a full-go in Friday’s practice. Kupp isn’t a viable Week 10 fantasy starter, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on how snaps and routes are divvied up between him and WR Rashid Shaheed. WR Tory Horton (groin, shin) is inactive, as expected.

Cooper Kupp Questionable, Tory Horton Doubtful For Week 10

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel) is questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Cardinals. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so we’re expecting him to play. WR Tory Horton, meanwhile, is listed as doubtful after missing practice on Thursday and Friday with a shin injury. That’ll leave Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Kupp, and the newly acquired Rashid Shaheed as Seattle’s top three WRs against Arizona.

        Cooper Kupp Out Wednesday

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel) did not practice on Wednesday. He's droppable from fantasy rosters after Seattle added WR Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline, but we are still expecting a healthy Kupp to play plenty of snaps for his blocking prowess. His absence vs. the Cardinals this weekend would leave Shaheed and Tory Horton as the clear No. 2 and 3 WRs behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Rashid Shaheed Heads to the Seahawks, Getting a Major QB Upgrade

WR Rashid Shaheed was traded from the New Orleans Saints to the Seattle Seahawks at the trade deadline, adding more weapons for QB Sam Darnold. The move breathes new fantasy life into Shaheed, who was struggling to perform consistently with QBs Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough in New Orleans. Now he joins Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp as a deep threat to take the top off the defense. It is an upgrade for Shaheed and the Seahawks. The Saints receive a fourth and fifth round pick for Shaheed.

        Cooper Kupp INACTIVE

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Commanders. He could miss multiple games after hurting his hamstring in Thursday’s practice. WR Tory Horton and TEs A.J. Barner and Elijah Arroyo are candidates for more targets tonight, but all three still qualify as fliers in fantasy lineups.

Cooper Kupp Questionable For Week 9

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Commanders. He injured his hamstring on Thursday and did not practice on Friday. We’re not expecting Kupp to play against Washington but will look for further updates on his status. His absence would likely mean a boost in snaps for rookie WR Tory Horton, who’s flashed on limited playing time this season. Horton is worth stashing in case Kupp is looking at an extended absence, but he’d be tough to trust in Week 9 fantasy lineups.

Cooper Kupp Limited Thursday With Hamstring

Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp was on Wednesday's injury report with a heel but put in a full practice. He was downgraded to limited on Thursday and is now listed with heel and hamstring issues. It looks like the hamstring popped up during today's practice, leaving Kupp uncertain for Sunday night's game vs. the Commanders. His absence would likely mean a boost in snaps for rookie WR Tory Horton. We'll update Kupp's status tomorrow.

Cooper Kupp Worse Than Irrelevant vs. Houston

Roughly no one expected Seahawks WR Cooper Kupp to deliver a positive fantasy outing in Monday night's matchup with the difficult Houston pass defense. But the veteran wideout made sure we all took notice. Kupp did gobble up 32 yards with his first catch of the game, opening Seattle's third possession, which eventually produced a TD. But Kupp wouldn't draw another official target. (He did have one negated by penalty.) And he did register the game's worst passer rating by tossing an INT on a first-down trick play in the middle of the second quarter.
