Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) did not practice all week and is out for Sunday’s game against the Giants. He remains without a timetable for return. Rookie WR Donteea Dye gets another start, but WR Mike Evans will continue to dominate targets.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) remained sidelined on Wednesday.  NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported last week that V-Jax will miss "multiple weeks," so don't expect him to play against the Giants on Sunday.  That'll again leave Mike Evans as the clear-cut #1 WR.  Tampa Bay should get TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) back this week.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) is inactive for today’s game against the Falcons. Undrafted rookie Donteea Dye will serve as Tampa Bay's #2 WR but would be a desperation fantasy play.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Falcons.  He didn't practice all week and won't play this weekend.  That leaves undrafted rookie Donteea Dye as Tampa Bay's #2 WR.  You should be able to do much better in your fantasy lineup.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport hears that Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) is not expected to play against the Falcons this weekend.  Rapoport adds that V-Jax's injury is not season-ending but will sideline him "multiple weeks."  His absence leaves Mike Evans and Donteea Dye as Tampa Bay's only healthy WRs.  They'll make roster moves this week, but Evans is going to soak up targets for as long as Jackson is out.

Bucs HC Lovie Smith offered no update on WR Vincent Jackson's knee injury in his Monday press conference, only saying that more will be known "later in the week."  Fantasy owners should be making other plans for Week 8.  Even when healthy, V-Jax had been held to 3 or fewer catches in 3 of his last 4 games.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson injured his knee in the 3rd quarter of Sunday's game against the Redskins.  He's considered questionable to return.  Tampa Bay lost WR Louis Murphy earlier in the game, leaving them with only Mike Evans and Russell Shepard.

Following a game with at least 3 drops, Bucs WR Mike Evans vowed to improve. “We’ve got to be better, starting with me,’’ Evans said following a loss to Carolina. “I will be better. We [the Bucs] went 1-3 in this first quarter. Now we’ll come back and try to put a beating on Jacksonville before our bye week.’’ Evans will look for his 1st TD of the season in that matchup. He caught just 3 of 8 targets on Sunday and watched as Vincent Jackson exploded for 10 grabs (15 targets) for 147 yards -- plus 1 score. There’s no reason to sell the talented Evans for pennies on the dollar, especially when you examine the ideal game script that the Tampa Bay defense is giving this passing game. Through 4 weeks, the Bucs have been outscored 38-6 in the 1st quarter.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Bucs TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a strained shoulder.  ASJ is getting a 2nd opinion, but it certainly sounds like he's looking at a multi-week absence.  It's a tough break for a guy who looked capable of a productive 2nd season, but durability has been a problem for him. TE Brandon Myers is next in line for Tampa Bay but won't be a fantasy factor.  Seferian-Jenkins' absence will mean more targets for WRs Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Titans. WR Louis Murphy is expected to replace Evans in the starting lineup but is a weak fantasy option. WR Vincent Jackson figures to dominate targets. TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins should also get a volume boost.

Bucs WR Mike Evans (hamstring) missed practice again on Thursday.  He's now been sidelined 17 days and is in real danger of missing this weekend's opener against the Titans.  That'd give WR Vincent Jackson and TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins target boosts.

The Bucs have hired Dirk Koetter as their new OC.  Koetter has spent the past 8 seasons running NFL offenses -- 5 in Jacksonville and the last 3 in Atlanta.  Only 1 of his Jaguars squads finished in the top half of the league in total offense, but he didn't have much talent to work with.  His Falcons teams ranked 7th, 20th and 12th in total offense.  Koetter has some intriguing young prospects to work with in Tampa Bay, specifically WR Mike Evans and TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins.  We'll have more on Koetter's impact on the Bucs throughout the offseason.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson suffered a groin injury in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Saints.  He's doubtful to return.  WR Mike Evans will hog targets the rest of the way.

Today's Bucs-Bears game in Chicago is expected to be played in windy conditions.  The current forecast calls for 15 mph winds with gusts up to 22.  Any rain in the area is expected to move out before kickoff.  The weather isn't enough for us to move anyone in the game up or down our Week 12 Rankings, but you might use it as a tiebreaker if deciding between 2 similarly ranked options.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) is active for today’s game against the Bucs. He practiced all week – including a full workout on Friday – so the knee shouldn’t be an issue. V-Jax is an upside WR2 against Atlanta’s porous pass defense.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.  It's a downgrade from last week, when he was listed as probable.  Like last week, though, V-Jax practiced all 3 days -- including a full workout on Friday.  There's been no indication that he's in danger of missing this weekend's game, but check back Sunday morning to make sure he's active.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) is active for today’s game against the Vikings. There’s been nothing to suggest that the ribs will be an issue. Jackson is a strong WR2 in a plus matchup.

The Bucs are listening to offers for WR Vincent Jackson, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.  At least 5 teams have reportedly expressed interest, including the Eagles, Patriots, Seahawks and Chiefs.  Those first 2 landing spots would be extremely intriguing for Jackon's fantasy value.  Rapoport hears that Tampa is looking for a 2nd-round pick, though, which seems like a major roadblock.  Jackson turns 32 in January and has 2 years and over $19 million left on his contract.  The trade deadline is this coming Tuesday.
