Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. He put in 3 limited practices. V-Jax was listed as questionable prior to Tampa’s last game and ended up playing 88% of the snaps and seeing 11 targets. There’s been nothing to suggest he’s in any danger of missing this weekend’s game. Jackson is a strong WR2 in a plus matchup.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) is active for today’s game against the Ravens. There’s been no indication the ribs will be an issue. The Ravens are tough against opposing #1 WRs, but Jackson’s 29 targets over the past 3 weeks mean that he needs to stay in your starting lineup.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Bucs will have both starting WRs for today's game against the Ravens.  WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) only put in a limited practice on Friday, but the rib issue isn't believed to be a major concern.  He's worth keeping in fantasy lineups as a WR2.  Evans (groin) got in 3 limited practices and will return after missing just 1 game.  The rookie is a risky WR3 for Week 6.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) returned to practice on Friday after sitting out the previous 2 days.  There's been no indication that the ribs will be an issue.  V-Jax is safe to keep in fantasy lineups, despite this week's tough matchup against the Ravens.  Jackson has seen a whopping 29 targets in QB Mike Glennon's 3 games.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson has missed the past 2 days of practice and is listed on the injury report with a rib issue.  We didn't notice him get hurt last week, but it's worth noting that he missed his first 7 snaps of the season.  There's still been no indication that V-Jax is in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Ravens, but check back tomorrow for another update.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (wrist) is active for today’s game against the Steelers. It’s unclear how big an issue the small fracture in his wrist will be, but V-Jax did put in a full week of practice. We like him as a WR2 against a banged-up Steelers defense.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (wrist) was a full participant in practice this week and is probable for Sunday’s game against the Steelers. He’ll be playing through a small fracture in his wrist, which certainly adds risk to his fantasy outlook. Against a banged-up Steelers defense, though, we’d keep V-Jax in starting lineups.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (wrist) confirmed that he's ready for Sunday's game against the Steelers.  He suffered a "small" fracture in his wrist last Thursday night but was able to play through it.  The team reportedly has a brace ready for him this weekend if he needs it.  A wrist injury for a WR is certainly troubling, though.  It adds risk to Jackson's fantasy profile, although we'd stick with him as a WR2 in this week's plus matchup.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson played through a "small" fracture in his wrist last week and plans to continue to do so, according to Fox Sports' Ross Jones. The injury is believed to have occurred on Tampa's 2nd offensive series of Thursday night's game against the Falcons. Jackson caught 2 of 8 targets the rest of the way and was charged with 1 drop. It's tough to know how big an impact the fracture will have, but it certainly won't help a guy who's sitting outside fantasy football's top 50 WRs through 3 weeks.

Bucs OC Jeff Tedford might not be available for this weekend's season opener, according to the Tampa Bay Times.  Tedford was hospitalized last week after an undisclosed surgery.  He was at the Bucs facility last weekend and has been helping with the game plan for the Panthers.  But might not be able to attend Sunday's game.  "Obviously, Jeff's been leading our offense through the whole offseason, so any time you take a piece away, there can be some disruption," QB Josh McCown said. "But the coaches seem like they are, so far, doing a great job picking up the slack and doing what we need to do."  It's not an ideal situation, but it also isn't enough for us to downgrade any Bucs in the Week 1 Rankings.

The Bucs added WR Mike Evans with the 7th overall pick of the draft.  Tampa had a big hole at WR next to Vincent Jackson.  Evans will fill it, giving the team one of the most physically imposing receiver duos in the league.  Evans is a 6'5, 231-pound former basketball player with a 37-inch vertical and 4.5 speed.  He has big TD upside in 2014 and beyond.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (hamstring) is active for today’s game against the Bills.  The hamstring obviously adds risk, but V-Jax has too much upside to consider benching in fantasy.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (hamstring) is expected to play against the Bills today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.  V-Jax only got in a limited practice on Friday and is listed as questionable on the injury report.  He's clearly not at 100% and is a risky fantasy play.  But his upside against the league's 31st-ranked WR defense makes Jackson worth getting into lineups.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (hamstring) is questionable for this weekend's game against the Bills.  He was limited in Friday's practice after sitting out the previous 2 days.  HC Greg Schiano said Friday that he's "cautiously optimistic" that V-Jax will play.  The good news is that we'll find out his status by noon ET on Sunday.  The bad news is that Jackson clearly isn't at 100% and will be a risky fantasy play if active.  Of course, he also has big upside against Buffalo's 31st-ranked WR defense.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson missed Wednesday's practice and was limited on Thursday with a hamstring issue.  It doesn't sound like a major concern, and HC Greg Schiano confirmed that Jackson "will be ready to play Sunday."  Hamstrings are always worth monitoring, though.  It adds some risk to Jackson's Week 14 fantasy profile, but he remains a must-start against Buffalo's 31st-ranked WR defense.

Bucs HC Greg Schiano said the team needs to do a better job getting the ball to WR Vincent Jackson.  “We need to make sure he gets his touches because he’s a dynamic player,” Schiano said. “You’re talking about a Pro Bowl player.  And, certainly, with the loss of some (of our) weapons offensively, defenses are really going to key on him now. That’s a fact of life. But get over it and find a way to get him the ball. That’s what we have to do."  V-Jax has just 5 catches on 12 targets over the past 2 games.  That followed games of 13, 22, 14 and 11 targets.  The 22-target game was against this week's opponent, Atlanta, and produced a massive 10-138-2 line.  Look for Tampa to force-feed Jackson the football this Sunday.  He remains a must-start in fantasy.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (knee) landed on the Week 11 injury report.  It’s believed to be a minor ailment, as VJax didn’t suffer an injury on Monday Night Football.  Barring a late-week setback, he’ll be safe to use against Atlanta’s sub-par secondary.

Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo reports that Bucs RB Doug Martin is out for the season with a torn labrum.  The 2nd-year back has averaged just 3.6 yards per carry but was still central to Tampa's offense.  Martin had carried 23.2 times per game before leaving yesterday's game early.  6th-round rookie Mike James will now be thrust into the lead role.  He managed just 45 yards on his 14 carries on Sunday and doesn't figure to be much more efficient going forward.  James is considered a capable pass-catcher, though, so he can bolster his fantasy production there.  He's at least worth rostering as a RB3 or flex option.  Meanwhile, the Bucs figure to go more pass-heavy going forward.  It's good news for WRs Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams.  Rookie Mike Glennon is on the 2-QB league radar.

Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) is active for today’s game against the Cardinals.  He’ll be playing through a painful rib injury that is expected to take 5 weeks to heal (barring an aggravation).  Consider V-Jax a risky WR2 in fantasy.

NFL Network reports that Bucs WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) is dealing with a "5-week injury."  He's going to attempt to play through it, starting today against the Cardinals.  But it's a concern because V-Jax needs to feel comfortable exposing his ribs when he goes over the middle and up for jump balls.  We'll see how it impacts his game.  Consider Jackson a risky WR2 for Week 4.
