Jets GM Joe Douglas confirms that the team has granted QB Zach Wilson's request to seek a trade, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Duh. It would pretty obviously be best for both sides if Wilson moves on for the final year of his rookie contract. (His fifth-year option remains available ... but who's picking that up?) We're certainly not betting on any team giving up much to land Wilson -- or him suddenly turning fantasy-relevant. But we'll be curious to see where he lands. We'll also be watching to see who backs up Aaron Rodgers for the Jets. That player figures to be worth keeping in mind for late in superflex drafts.

Jets QB Zach Wilson (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. QB Trevor Siemian will presumably close out this Jets season that was doomed when QB Aaron Rodgers went down in the opener. Siemian isn't a fantasy option but has at least been peppering RB Breece Hall and WR Garrett Wilson with targets.

Jets QB Zach Wilson (concussion) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Browns. QB Trevor Siemian will get the start. He mustered just 4.4 yards per pass attempt against the Commanders' league-worst pass defense last week and is not a viable Week 17 starter even in Superflex leagues.

Jets QB Zach Wilson (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Commanders. QB Trevor Siemian will make his first start of the season in that one. He's completed just 49% of his passes at 4.5 yards per attempt across two appearances this year. Even against Washington's league-worst pass defense, Siemian is a low-end QB2.

Jets QB Zach Wilson has been ruled out of Sunday’s game with a head injury. Per the CBS broadcast, Wilson went to the locker room before halftime to get treated for dehydration. Trevor Siemian has taken over under center.

Update: Wilson has a concussion, the team announced.

Jets QB Zach Wilson returned to the lineup Sunday with probably the best performance of his career. The 301 yards marked the third time in his career that Wilson reached 300. But the 75% completion rate marked a career high, and his 117.9 passer rating beat his previous best by a wide margin. Wilson found RB Breece Hall and WR Xavier Gipson for TDs. He now gets positive matchups with the Dolphins and Commanders the next two weeks, before a tough Week 17 spot at Cleveland. It's too late in the year to consider trusting Wilson outside of superflex leagues (if there, even). But maybe Hall and WR Garrett Wilson will help our lineups in the fantasy football playoffs.

The forecast for today's Texans-Jets game calls for a near 100% chance of rain. Winds will be at 10-15 mph with potential gusts of 30+. Tough conditions for the passing and kicking games. This over/under has dropped from 38.5 to 33.0. The Texans are implied for only 18.0 points. Check out the updated projections for this game.

Jets HC Robert Saleh announced Wednesday that he's going back to QB Zach Wilson as the starter for Week 14 vs. the Texans and for the rest of the season. Wilson was bad over the first 10 games of the season, completing 59% of his passes at 6.1 yards per attempt. But QBs Tim Boyle and Trevor Siemian combined for 5.2 yards per attempt on a 60.5% completion rate over the last two weeks. Consider Wilson's return a small upgrade for the Jets passing game. WR Garrett Wilson and RB Breece Hall, of course, remain the only viable fantasy starters in this offense.

The Jets will release QB Tim Boyle, according to CBS Sports' Josina Anderson. QB Brett Rypien is being signed off the Seahawks' practice squad in a corresponding move. We'll see who the Jets toss under center for this weekend's game vs. the Texans, but the passing game will continue to stink regardless.

On Monday, multiple reports confirmed that the Jets will start QB Tim Boyle in Week 12 vs. the Dolphins. The struggling Zach Wilson will officially hit the bench after being pulled late in the third quarter of Sunday's 32-6 blowout loss to the Bills. Should this be the last we see of Wilson in 2023, he'll have finished the season with 1,944 passing yards (23rd among QBs), 6 TDs, and 7 INTs. This move doesn't change much for fantasy managers with how poorly the Jets' offense has played all season. Still, it's pretty difficult to argue that Wilson, the former second-overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft, holds any long-term dynasty value at this point. Those in deeper 2QB/superflex leagues could consider taking a stab at Boyle, but he's no more than a desperation fill-in play.

Jets QB Zach Wilson was benched in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Bills for QB Tim Boyle. Wilson went 7 of 15 for 81 yards, one TD, and one INT, leading the Jets to just 106 yards of total offense. We'll see how Boyle fares the rest of the way -- and what the Jets do at QB going forward. It won't be pretty no matter what they decide.

Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 33 of 49 passes for 263 yards with no TDs or INTs in Week 9’s loss vs. the Chargers. He also added 7 rushing yards in the contest. Fantasy managers probably didn’t expect much from Wilson, the QB34 in fantasy points per game (10.1) in 2023. That said, some of his poor numbers can be attributed to the fact that Wilson was sacked a season-high 8 times on Monday night. Next week’s showdown vs. the Raiders won’t be much easier for him. The Las Vegas defense ranks as the third-toughest QB matchup per our adjusted fantasy points allowed.

Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 17 of 36 passes for 240 yards with 1 TD in Week 8’s win vs. the Giants. He also contributed a team-leading 25 rushing yards in the contest. Sunday’s performance marked only the second time this season that Wilson has surpassed 200 passing yards in a game. Don’t be looking to start him in Week 9 vs. the Chargers outside of superflex leagues.

Coming off one of his better games as a pro in the Week 4 loss to the Chiefs, Jets QB Zach Wilson disappointed against a bad Broncos defense. The indecision and inconsistent accuracy that's plagued Wilson for most of his NFL career resurfaced in this one. He finished 19 of 26 for 199 yards, 0 TDs, and one INT. He took four sacks and fumbled twice, although both were recovered by the Jets. With his best matchup of the season behind him, you can go back to ignoring Wilson in fantasy football.

Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 28 of 39 passes for 245 yards with 2 TDs and 0 INTs in Week 4’s loss vs. the Chiefs. He also added 14 rushing yards in the contest. Wilson looked surprisingly good in this primetime game and nearly posted QB1-type fantasy numbers. It’s difficult to expect he’ll be quite this good for the remainder of the season, but a Week 5 matchup vs. the Broncos might be appealing. So far in 2023, Denver has allowed the highest points per game (37.5) and total yards per game (461.5).

Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 18 of 36 passes for 157 yards with no TDs or INTs in Week 3’s loss vs. the Patriots. There’s no reason he should be in lineups outside the deepest of 2QB or superflex leagues. The young signal-caller will remain off the fantasy radar in Week 4 vs. the Chiefs.

An MRI confirmed that Jets QB Aaron Rodgers has a torn Achilles, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That ends Rodgers' season after just four snaps. Turning 40 in December, Rodgers' football future is uncertain. He's signed with the Jets for two more seasons, although he carries a $51.5 million cap hit in 2025. The Rodgers injury puts Zach Wilson back under center for now. We'll see if the Jets -- with Super Bowl aspirations -- make a move at QB. For now, all Jets skill-position players are fantasy losers.
