Cardinals S Jalen Thompson (knee) is questionable for tonight's game against the Saints. He put in limited practices the past 2 days after opening the week as a non-participant. We haven't read anything about specific worries regarding Thompson's knee, and he played 100% of the snaps in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. So we'll bet on the veteran playing but will check his status when inactive come out around 7 p.m. ET.

Cardinals K Matt Prater (hip) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Saints. He didn't practice all week, so we're not expecting him to play. Assuming that's the case, K Rodrigo Blankenship will be called up from the practice squad and kick against New Orleans.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the Saints. He didn't practice all week, so we'd be surprised if he played. RB Darrel Williams (knee) has been ruled out.

Cardinals RBs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) did not practice on Tuesday. It looks like both guys will miss Thursday night's game vs. the Saints.

The Cardinals listed RB James Conner (ribs) and RB Darrel Williams (knee) as missing practice in their estimated report Monday, ahead of the Thursday night game against the Saints. We'll see whether either guy progresses enough this week to be in play for that contest.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray delivered 100 yards on 10 rushing attempts in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. He amassed just 222 passing yards on 23-of-37 passing to go with that, with 0 TDs and 1 INT. Murray took 6 sacks in the game, triple what he had endured in any previous contest. Arizona continues to disappoint on offense. The Cardinals entered 23rd in both overall offensive DVOA, according to Football Outsiders, and 23rd in passing DVOA.

The Cardinals elevated RB Corey Clement from the practice squad to the active roster. He'll join Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram in the backfield vs. the Seahawks today. Benjamin figures to lead the group in carries and targets and is the only viable fantasy play.

Cardinals RBs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) are out for this weekend's game vs. the Seahawks. That leaves RBs Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram on the active roster, with RBs Ty'Son Williams and Corey Clement on the practice squad. We'll see if Arizona elevates Williams or Clement, but expect Benjamin to lead this backfield in carries on Sunday and handle most of the passing-down work. He's a rock-solid RB2 vs. Seattle's 26th-ranked RB defense.

Pro Football Network's Aaron Wilson hears that Cardinals RB James Conner (rib) is expected to miss Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks "and perhaps additional time." RB Darrel Williams (knee) is also likely to miss Week 6, leaving Eno Benjamin and rookie Keaontay Ingram as the healthy RBs on the active roster. RBs Ty’Son Williams and Corey Clement are on the practice squad. The 207-pound Benjamin probably won't be a workhorse this weekend, but he can contribute as a runner and pass-catcher and could approach 20 total touches.

Cardinals K Matt Prater is out for Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks, HC Kliff Kingsbury said Thursday. Matt Ammendola will kick again for Arizona this weekend.

Cardinals K Matt Prater (hip) remained sidelined on Wednesday. It looks like Matt Ammendola will kick again for Arizona vs. Seattle this weekend.

Cardinals RB James Conner (ribs) did not practice on Wednesday. Arizona is holding out hope that he'll be able to play vs. the Seahawks this weekend, but we'd consider him no better than 50/50. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Cardinals HC Kliff Kingsbury said RB James Conner's ribs are "OK" after he was knocked out of Sunday's loss to the Eagles. "We're checking everything out," Kingsbury added. "It's something in the rib area and they're just being very cautious with him right now." We should get a more concrete update on Conner by Monday night.

Cardinals RB James Conner suffered a rib injury in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Eagles. He's officially questionable to return but hasn't yet hit the field in quarter 3. We'll update his status when we know more.

Cardinals WR A.J. Green (knee) is not listed on the final Week 5 injury report and will play vs. the Eagles on Sunday. He’s not a fantasy option, but his return should push WR Rondale Moore back into the slot (assuming Moore plays through his knee issue).

Cardinals K Matt Prater (hip) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Eagles, HC Kliff Kingsbury said. K Matt Ammendola, who kicked for the Chiefs in Weeks 2 and 3, will step in for Prater. We'd look elsewhere for your fantasy lineups.

Cardinals WR A.J. Green (knee) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. We'll see if he can make it back for this weekend's game vs. the Eagles. Green isn't a fantasy option, but his return would likely push WR Rondale Moore into the slot where he belongs.

Cardinals K Matt Prater (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. He kicked through this issue last week, making 2 FGs and 2 XPs. But we'd look elsewhere for a Week 5 fantasy kicker.

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray threw 2 TD passes and ran for a 3rd in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. That was enough to put Murray 7th among fantasy QBs for the week, heading into Monday night. His yardage remained limited otherwise, though. Murray gained only 26 yards on 12 rushes and threw for a mere 207 (6.5 per attempt). He targeted WR Marquise Brown a team-high 11 times, completing 6 for 88 yards. TE Zach Ertz drew 6 looks, catching all 6 for 47. Those 2 caught Murray's TD throws. WR Rondale Moore checked in 3rd in targets in his 1st appearance of the season, catching 3 of 5 looks for 11 yards.

2:38pm EDT 10/2/22

Cardinals K Matt Prater (hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Panthers. He carries elevated risk in fantasy lineups at less than 100%.
