Randall Cobb a Week 1 starter?
The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt believes WR Randall Cobb will "likely start in Week 1." The scenario would have Cobb in the slot between Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard -- and leave Mecole Hardman as the No. 4 WR. We'd still rather take a shot on Hardman than Cobb at the end of fantasy drafts, but neither guy is an appealing pick.
Randall Cobb opens camp on PUP list
Jets WR Randall Cobb (ankle) has been placed on the active/PUP list. He's working his way back from offseason ankle surgery. Despite his long history with QB Aaron Rodgers, Cobb is a long shot to be a 2023 fantasy factor.
Cobb follows his buddy
In a move that should surprise absolutely no one, the Jets have agreed to a one-year deal with WR Randall Cobb. The Aaron Rodgers teddy bear averaged just 3.6 targets per game with Green Bay over the past two seasons, after returning from exile ... er, Houston. Cobb has reached 40 receptions just once in the past five seasons. He's not a fantasy factor heading into his age-33 campaign. We'll see, though, how much he disrupts the playing time of younger teammates. Even while missing four games last year, Cobb still ranked fourth among Packers WRs in snap share.
