Bengals QB Joe Burrow's most likely return date from his toe injury is Week 14 against the Bills, according to NFL Network. Week 13 against the Ravens on Thanksgiving night is also still on the table, per Rapoport. Burrow reportedly plans to return this season regardless of Cincinnati's record. He had an impressive week of practice, participating in individual drills and 7-on-7 work. "I'm not going to say I'm impressed because that's how it always looks," HC Zac Taylor said on Wednesday,. Bengals QB Joe Flacco (shoulder) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Bears. He only got in a limited practice on Thursday, although HC Zac Taylor said Friday morning that he “saw what he hoped to see for a guy to be able to play on Sunday” in that Thursday practice. We’ll look for more updates on Flacco, but he’d come with elevated risk in fantasy lineups if he plays through this throwing shoulder injury. If not, Cincinnati will turn back to QB Jake Browning, who was horrible in three starts earlier this year.

Bengals QB Joe Flacco's status for Sunday's game vs. the Bears is "up in the air" due to the AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder he suffered in the Week 8 loss to the Jets, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. HC Zac Taylor labeled Flacco "day to day" earlier this week, so this doesn't seem like a serious injury. But we're talking about a 40-year-old QB with a bad throwing shoulder. It wouldn't be at all surprising if Flacco is unable to suit up on Sunday. His absence would force the Bengals to turn back to QB Jake Browning, who was terrible in three starts earlier this season. He'd be a significant downgrade for WRs Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

NFL Network reports that Bengals QB Joe Burrow is believed to have suffered a Grade 3 turf toe injury in the Week 2 win over the Bengals. If confirmed, Burrow will need surgery and miss "at least 3 months." ESPN's Adam Schefter adds that images of Burrow's toe are being sent to foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson before a final decision is made.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins had a big game Sunday night in his return from a three-week quad injury. Higgins caught a team-high nine passes for 148 yards and a TD in the loss to the Chargers. He tied WR Ja'Marr Chase for the target lead (13) and trailed Chase's team lead in routes by just five. Chase caught seven balls for 75 yards and 2 TDs against the Chargers.

Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase obliterated the Ravens for 11 catches, 264 yards, and three TDs on Thursday night. The 55.4 PPR points were the 20th most scored by any player in a game in NFL history. They're the eighth most ever by a WR. A Baltimore secondary that's struggled all season and lost S Kyle Hamilton to an ankle injury in this one simply had no answer for Chase. He scored 67- and 70-yard TDs in the second half. And he got the hat trick with a leaping grab for a five-yard TD with less than a minute to go to bring the Bengals within a point. (They failed to convert the 2-point conversion.) Chase was targeted on 17 of QB Joe Burrow's 56 pass attempts -- good for a 30.4%. target share.

ESPN's Dan Graziano hears that there's "pessimism" about Bengals WR Tee Higgins' availability for Sunday's game vs. the Eagles. Higgins was added to the injury report with a quad on Friday, limited in practice, and listed as questionable. "The Bengals are planning to go right up until game time before deciding" on Higgins' status, Graziano adds. We'll look for more updates on Higgins on Sunday morning and get Cincinnati's inactives around 11:30 am ET. His absence would mean more target potential for WR Ja'Marr Chase, WR Andrei Iosivas, and the Bengals RBs and TEs. It'd also be a significant loss for QB Joe Burrow.

The Bengals added "illness" to WR Ja'Marr Chase's Week 1 injury designation. He remains questionable for the game against the Patriots. We doubt the illness would keep Chase from playing, but he remains without a new contract as of Saturday afternoon. Chase said Friday that he'd be willing to play without a new deal, adding that he'll "probably be limited" if he does suit up. We should get further updates on his Week 1 status on Sunday morning.
