Bears RB D’Onta Foreman saw 21 carries for 80 rushing yards and a TD in Week 10 vs. the Panthers. He also contributed 2 catches for 12 yards as a receiver on Thursday night. This contest was the third time in four games that Foreman has rushed for 80 or more yards. He’s played well as the Bears RB1 with Khalil Herbert (ankle) out of the lineup since Week 5. But as good as Foreman has been, it’s worth remembering that Herbert practiced fully in the three days leading up to Thursday without being officially activated off IR. It’s reasonable to expect Herbert will return for Week 11 vs. the Lions and relegate Foreman back to spelling duty. Neither will be particularly appealing fantasy options against a Lions defense that ranks as the sixth-toughest RB matchup per our adjusted fantasy points allowed.
The Browns signed RB D'Onta Foreman to a one-year deal. Although he averaged just 3.9 yards per carry in Chicago last year, Foreman ranked 22nd in Pro Football Focus rushing grade, 22nd in Elusive Rating, and 26th in Rush Yards Over Expected Per Attempt among 49 qualifying RBs. That followed a career-high 914 rushing yards on 4.5 yards per attempt for the Panthers in 2022. Foreman is a quality depth addition for a Browns team that has RB Nick Chubb working his way back from a significant knee injury that will likely cost him at least part of the 2024 season. Foreman will team up with RB Jerome Ford for however long Chubb is sidelined.
Bears RB D'Onta Foreman is a surprise inactive for today's game vs. the Falcons. He missed last week's game due to a personal issue but was left off the final injury report this week. Chicago will again roll with RBs Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson today. Herbert tallied 20 carries and two targets to Johnson's nine carries and three targets last week.
Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (personal) practiced all week and isn’t listed on the final injury report for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. It’s entirely unclear how work will be divvied between Foreman, Khalil Herbert, and Roschon Johnson, making it a situation to try to avoid in Week 17 fantasy lineups.
Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (personal) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That should put him on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons -- and return Chicago's backfield to an ugly three-man committee.
Bears RB D’Onta Foreman (personal) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Cardinals. That leaves Chicago’s backfield to Roschon Johnson and Khalil Herbert. We don’t know exactly how work will be divvied between them, but they both have enough upside against Arizona’s 31st-ranked RB defense to consider as RB3 or flex plays. See where Johnson and Herbert sit in the Week 16 RB Rankings.
