Former Iowa State WR Jayden Higgins made an impact at the NFL Combine running a 4.47 40-yard dash along with a 39" Vertical (92nd Percentile) and 10'08 Broad jump (92nd Percentile). He achieved these while weighing in at 6'4 1/8 and 214 pounds. Higgins has likely locked himself into the top-100 of the NFL Draft.
Trevor Sikkema of PFF: "I spent a lot of time this season debating who I liked better between Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins
The answer all along was simply: yes"
Higgins had an excellent final season, but he was under the radar as a fantasy prospect until the NFL Combine.
He also had the largest hand size among WRs at 33 1/8".
Higgins turned heads just a few weeks ago at the Senior Bowl and should be coveted by NFL Teams. He is a true X WR who can play outside with his size and athleticisim.
His former teammate Jaylin Noel also had an excellent Combine with a 4.39 40-yard dash. He also was among the top WRs in other workouts.
Keep an eye on both of the former Cyclone WRs in your rookie drafts. Higgins and Noel have fantasy upside, especially as deep threat options who could develop a more well-rounded skillset.
