Wild Card Round FanDuel Targets

QB
Daniel Jones, Giants ($7,400) at Vikings
I’m taking the value route at QB.
Josh Allen — easily the priciest QB at $9.2K — shouldn’t need to be Superman against a banged up Miami offense.
Same for Joe Burrow, who’s also looked human against the Ravens this season.
Justin Herbert, of course, just lost Mike Williams for Saturday.
Now, I’m not saying those guys can’t pay off. But I’m interested in stuffing in some high-end talents elsewhere, and, well…the salary cap is a thing.
As for Jones — he enters an indoors matchup with a Vikings squad sitting 8th-friendliest in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. Really, his rushing upside is the true cheat code. This year, he ranks top-5 at the position in rushes, yards and TDs.
Tournament Play: Tom Brady, Bucs ($6,800) vs. Dallas
The Bucs rested several key starters last week, so this should be a fresh team entering Monday night.
Now, yes, Dallas also enters this one healthy (despite a Week 18 debacle in Washington). But at some point, you buy into the price and the bankable volume. Brady just set the single-season record for pass attempts (733) — over 43 per game.
I anticipate Tampa Bay playing from behind late in this one, further cementing Brady’s volume. (The current betting line is Bucs +2.5.)
Our current projections have him for 17.5 points — only .4 behind Kirk Cousins and .6 behind Dak Prescott.
