Guillotine leagues flip traditional fantasy football on its head. Instead of trying to beat one opponent each week, your only mission is to avoid finishing dead last.

That key difference demands a different approach to guillotine league rankings.

How Guillotine League Rankings Are Different

Chasing upside is a key tenet of the best fantasy football strategy … for traditional leagues.

In guillotine leagues, consistency is king. You’re not hunting for ceiling-smashing explosions. You’re trying to dodge those week-killing landmines. A steady week-to-week floor is what keeps you alive.

High-volume position players and dual-threat QBs are the gold standard in guillotine leagues. You’ll see both archetypes pushed up the rankings.

The guillotine league rankings below also make adjustments for:

  • Weekly floor projections
  • Players who are at risk of missing the start of the season due to injury or suspension
  • Rookies (who tend to get off to slower starts)
  • Bye weeks (later byes are a sneaky edge in this format)

Below you’ll find guillotine rankings for:
