Bengals RB Chase Brown tallied 22 carries, 101 yards, and 2 TDs in Sunday’s blowout win over Arizona. Brown caught all 3 of his targets for 40 yards. The 25-year-old has now hit 29.1 and 32.9 PPR points over his past two matchups, while he hasn't dipped under 15 points since Week 7.
What They're Saying
After the win, ESPN reporter Ben Baby wondered if the Bengals should extend Brown early.
"That might be a good idea since his value will only increase in the future," Baby opined. "Brown continued his strong season with another big performance against the Cardinals. He had 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns in addition to three catches for 40 yards. Brown will be extension-eligible after this season. While that would be an unexpected move for the Bengals, it could save them a few dollars and reward a player who is a key part of the offense.”
Brown has only one year remaining on his rookie contract. He'll count only $1.2 million against the '26 cap, per Spotrac.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Brown entered Sunday with high expectations. After all, Arizona ranked third-worst in adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs.
Sure enough, he delivered. Per Next Gen Stats, Brown had an expected YPC of 3.8, with an actual figure of 4.6. He faced stacked boxes on only 18.2% of his attempts, which certainly helped him boost efficiency.
Brown scored from 6 and 1-yard out. He did well to navigate to the correct hole on the 6-yarder. Then, on the 1-yarder, Brown faced little resistance on a run off right tackle.
He nearly added a third score, but this goal line attempt went to backup Samaje Perine. On the day, Brown easily out-carried the veteran by a margin of 22-3. Perine was targeted only once.
Brown will close the season with a home matchup vs. Cleveland.
