Jadarian Price Headshot

Seahawks RB Jadarian Price missed his second straight practice on Saturday. HC Mike Macdonald said that the rookie is dealing with knee soreness and should be back in a few days. Price has been one of Seattle’s training-camp standouts, even flashing as a receiver despite being used there rarely in college. He’s expected to open as the starter, at least until Zach Charbonnet returns from his ACL injury.

What They're Saying: Back In A Few Days

Jeremy Fowler, ESPN: “Seahawks first-round pick Jadarian Price is missing practice for a second consecutive day, but his absence is not serious. Head coach Mike Macdonald says Price has leg soreness but is expected back in a few days.

He has highly impressed Seattle in camp.”

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Camp Hype Beats Missing Practice

Macdonald didn’t sound worried about the knee soreness, so a few missed practices shouldn’t affect Price’s rank or ADP. If it lingers, that could change.

Price’s success at training camp has made him a recent riser, with strong reports about his receiving and role. That certainly lends more credence to his potential fantasy impact this year.

The Athletic’s Mike Duger said on The Athletic Football Show that he expects Price and George Holani to form the 1-2 punch while Charbonnet misses time.

Duger also notes that Charbonnet may be back within the first month, which could dampen Price’s outlook later in the season if they share the same role.

If Price shows that receiving ability and explosiveness, he should at least fill the Kenneth Walker role in this offense, with the potential to lead the team in touches even when Charbonnet returns.

Price currently sits as RB28 in our PPR RB Rankings baking in a likely committee approach. His ceiling sits at RB20, however, factoring in the potential that Price is the most talented back on the team.
