The Packers signed TE Jonnu Smith to a one-year deal. The 31-year-old is coming off a poor season in Pittsburgh that produced just 38 catches, 222 yards, and 2 TDs in 17 games.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Musgrave landed on the PUP list with a neck injury back in July, while Tucker Kraft remains on track for Week 1. That puts the new Packer in position for the No. 2 TE role.
Smith went off for a career-best 88-884-8 line under Mike McDaniel in 2024. Then came an ugly 2025, when he couldn’t earn consistent playing time alongside Darnell Washington and Pat Freiermuth.
Smith might gain some streaming value if Kraft misses time in 2026, but for now, he can be avoided in fantasy drafts.
