Tucker Kraft Headshot

Packers TE Tucker Kraft told reporters after Wednesday's joint practice with the Cardinals that he felt "free" and is no longer working under playing-time limitations.

What They're Saying: No Limitations

Kraft, via Zach Jacobson of Packer Dispatch: "I really didn't have anyone counting my reps or trying to pull me out of stuff. I've gotten to the point now where I feel good, and I'm confident enough to where I'm going to stay out there. You guys take me out when I need to come out, when I'm tired. I'm not doing the rep-count stuff anymore. ... I'm going to try to be out there as much as I can."

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Let's Just Call Him Ready

That's good news, of course. But it's also a confusing update.

Here's what Kraft said just 10 days earlier: "They’re going to take into account my rep range probably until halfway through the season, and then they’re going to just pat me on the ass and send me out there and send me to the wolves. ... Our job right now is to build my rep range so I'm capable of that Week 1."

Sooo ... did Kraft just already advance that much and prove to coaches that they don't need to worry about his repaired knee? Or was he just kinda talking, with no official impact on how his regular-season workload will go?

We'll have to see. And we probably won't know the answer until we see his Week 1 snap count.

Either way, the fact that he's feeling this good near the end of camp can only be positive for his fantasy outlook.

If you've been drafting Kraft -- or interested in doing so -- to this point, there's no reason to change that plan. He continues to sit well inside TE1 territory in our rankings.
