Jordyn Tyson Headshot

The debut for top-10 pick Jordyn Tyson is officially on hold after the Saints placed him on injured reserve per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The hamstring injury is going to cause the rookie wide receiver to miss at least the first four games of the 2026 campaign.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Talent Stays, Debut Waits

The move to injured reserve was expected for Tyson after a hamstring issue the Saints didn’t have a timetable for.

Tyson is one of this class's most talented rookie WRs, if not the most talented. He was the only one to post at least 20.0 PPR points per game (PPG) and a 32.0% target share last season.

But the hamstring issues that cost him 38% of his games at Arizona State and remain a concern likely contributed to him not being the first wide receiver taken in this class.

With this being an expected move from the Saints, Tyson remains stagnant in our rankings.
