The Chiefs have reached out to WR Tyreek Hill's agent about a potential reunion, according to The Athletic's Mike Silver. There was already interest before today's game against the Raiders, per Silver, but that interest undoubtedly heightened after WRs Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton left with injuries.
What They're Saying
TE Travis Kelce after the Raiders game: “That’s out of my hands, but I know I’d love to have ‘The Cheetah’ back in this building. He’s a brother. He’s one of those people who, when he sets his mind to something, he usually delivers. You saw that with Miami, when all the haters were saying he couldn’t play and he went and had his best year. I’d be excited by what he could do (here).”
QB Patrick Mahomes: “I have no idea (if that would happen), but it’d be pretty cool.”
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Still A Long Shot
Hill is still working back from a gruesome left knee injury suffered a little over a year ago. He said back in July that he still had "no power" in that leg. He's presumably progressed since then, and Silver reports that Hill is targeting a November return.
We're not optimistic about Hill's chances of making a significant impact coming off that injury at 32 years old. But landing with the Chiefs would certainly help those chances.
Hill is a fine stash if you have the roster space, but don't drop anyone of value to grab him.
