Ravens WR Zay Flowers was held without a catch in Sunday’s loss to Buffalo. Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley both departed with first half injuries, leaving Flowers to run routes for third-string rookie Joe Fagnano.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Sunday's disastrous QB situation gave Flowers little chance to produce.
Jackson exited after his first dropback, and Huntley followed later in the opening half. Baltimore's offense predictably collapsed, managing only 91 passing yards on 49 offensive plays. The Ravens also converted a miserable 3 of 14 third- and fourth-down opportunities.
Flowers deserves some blame for dropping a short in-breaking pass. But none of his other four targets were catchable, leaving him with little opportunity to overcome the offensive struggles.
The Ravens would be wise to pursue a capable veteran QB immediately. Jackson appears to be out for the year, and Huntley is looking at a multi-week absence due to turf toe.
If Fagnano remains the starter, Flowers loses his WR1 appeal and becomes a much riskier weekly fantasy option. Even if Baltimore adds an experienced veteran, Flowers will likely struggle to maintain the elite fantasy production he delivered before Week 8.
