Cowboys WR Amari Cooper is listed on the Week 1 injury report with a hamstring but was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. So, barring a setback, he'll be ready for Sunday night's opener against the Rams. Cooper figures to see plenty of CB Jalen Ramsey in that one.

The Cowboys added Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb with the 17th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. He joins Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup in a loaded WR corps. Lamb turned in a brilliant 3-year college career. He made an immediate impact as a true freshman, ranking 3rd on the Sooners behind Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews with 46 catches and 807 yards and tying for 2nd with 7 TDs. Lamb’s numbers grew to 65 catches, 1,158 yards and 11 scores in 2018. And he pumped out a massive 62-1,327-14 line this past year. Lamb’s 15.1 yards per target and 3.99 yards per route run in 2019 were easily tops among 30 of this year’s best WR prospects. The 6’2, 198-pounder is a beast after the catch, ranking top 5 among all draft-eligible players in both missed tackles forced and yards-after-catch average. He’s also a weapon downfield with his long-striding speed and plus ball skills. We see a lot of Demaryius Thomas in Lamb’s game — although DeAndre Hopkins seems to be his most popular comp. Lamb is joining what was 1 of the most efficient passing games in the NFL last year, although he’ll be battling for targets with Cooper and Gallup. QB Dak Prescott’s stock gets a significant boost here.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that WR Amari Cooper "intends" to re-sign with the Cowboys on a 5-year, $100 million deal. Schefter adds that Washington tried to draw Cooper away on Monday but lost out. Staying in Dallas figures to be the best move for Cooper's fantasy outlook. He has produced WR1-level numbers since the mid-2018 trade. Cooper's decision keeps intact the top of a Cowboys passing game that also delivered a lot of fantasy points through QB Dak Prescott and WR Michael Gallup in 2019.

The Cowboys will name HC Mike McCarthy their new HC, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer. An official announcement is expected later this week. McCarthy spent 2006-2018 as Packers HC, compiling a 125-77-2 record, 9 playoff appearances and 1 Super Bowl. He was an OC before that and figures to have a big say in the Cowboys offense. But we'll see who McCarthy brings aboard as his OC.

The Cowboys have fired HC Jason Garrett. The move seemed inevitable but for some reason took until a full week after Dallas' season had ended to happen. Garrett spent the past 13 seasons with the Cowboys as either OC or HC. He finishes with an 85-67 record as HC but had far too many underachieving seasons. 2019 was chief among them, with Dallas going 8-8 despite a loaded roster. We'll see who the Cowboys tab as their new HC. We're also curious to see if they can hang on OC Kellen Moore, who showed promise at times as the play-caller this past year.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott suffered an AC joint injury in his throwing shoulder in the 1st quarter of Sunday's win over the Rams. Prescott never left that game but attempted just 20 passes over the final 3-and-a-half quarters. HC Jason Garrett said Wednesday that an MRI revealed no structural damage to the shoulder but that Prescott is "not very functional at the moment." Garrett also stopped short of guaranteeing that Prescott will play against the Eagles this weekend, although ESPN's Ed Werder reports that Prescott is expected to play. We'll keep a close eye on the situation over the next few days -- but we just moved Prescott and his WRs down the Week 16 Rankings.

The MRI on Cowboys WR Amari Cooper's left knee revealed no structural damage, according to ESPN's Todd Archer. We'll keep an eye on Cooper's practice participation next week, but he should be fine for Thursday night's game against the Bears.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper told reporters that he'll get an x-ray Friday after taking a helmet to the knee late in the loss to the Bills. Cooper briefly returned after the injury but seem hobbled. He's dealt with a bunch of lower-body injuries throughout this season. We'll update his status when we learn more.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (knee, ankle) is active for tonight’s game against the Vikings. He’s been playing effectively through injuries all season, and we haven’t heard anything about him being limited tonight. Cooper remains a WR1 with upside.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (knee) is expected to play against the Vikings tonight. He's reportedly dealing with a knee bruise, but we never heard much concern that he'd miss this one. Cooper is safe to keep in fantasy lineups.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (knee, ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Vikings. He's reportedly dealing with a knee bruise and got in limited practices on Wednesday and Friday. Cooper is expected to play vs. Minnesota, but we'll look for further updates on his status.

The MRI on Cowboys WR Amari Cooper's knee revealed just a bruise, according to ESPN's Todd Archer. Cooper is expected to practice Friday and played Sunday night against the Vikings. The knee adds some risk, but Cooper has been playing well through injuries most of the season.

David Helman of the team website reports that Cowboys WR Amari Cooper won't practice Thursday because of the knee injury he sustained Monday night. Helman says he thinks "that's more about the short week than anything" and that the Cowboys are "optimistic" that Cooper will be able to practice Friday and play Sunday night. We'll obviously be watching this situation closely. Let's hope Cooper doesn't enter Sunday as a question mark, given the late kick. If he's ready, Cooper has been a monster in home games since arriving in Dallas.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper is dealing with a knee injury that he originally suffered in practice last week and aggravated in Monday night's win over the Giants, according to ESPN's Todd Archer. Cooper was able to play through it vs. the G-Men, scoring a late 45-yard TD. And Archer confirms that Cooper is expected to play against the Vikings on Sunday night. We'll keep an eye on him.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (quad) is active for tonight’s game against the Eagles. He only got in a limited practice on Friday and won’t be at 100%. Cooper made it through just 3 snaps before aggravating the quad injury last week. Tonight’s matchup is awesome, but Cooper comes with plenty of risk in fantasy lineups. WR Randall Cobb (hip, back) is also active.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Cowboys WRs Amari Cooper (quad) and Randall Cobb (hip, back) are expected to play against the Eagles tonight. It's a surprising turnaround for Cooper, who seemed unlikely to play most of the week until returning to a limited practice on Friday. It's safe to assume that he won't be at 100% tonight, though, and we saw last week that he's at risk of aggravating the quad injury. Consider Cooper a risk/reward WR2 for Week 7. OTs Tyron Smith (ankle) and La'El Collins (knee) are also expected to play tonight, per Schefter, so QB Dak Prescott's stock is on the rise.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (quad) returned to practice on Friday after sitting out the previous 2 days and is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Eagles. Cooper told reporters after Friday’s workout that he expects to play. We’ll look for an update on his status on Sunday morning. If he ends up active, Cooper will be a risk/reward fantasy play in a plus matchup at less than 100%. He made it through just 3 snaps before aggravating that quad injury last week. WR Randall Cobb (hip, back) is also listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game.

Cowboys WRs Amari Cooper (quad) and Randall Cobb (back) remained sidelined on Thursday. Both guys are looking extremely iffy for Sunday night's game against the Eagles. Their absences would leave Michael Gallup, Devin Smith, Tavon Austin and Cedrick Wilson as Dallas' top 4 WRs.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (quad) didn't practice on Wednesday. ESPN's Todd Archer reported earlier this week that Cooper's availability for Sunday night's game against the Eagles is "in serious question." WR Randall Cobb (back) also missed Wednesday's practice after sitting out last week's loss to the Jets.
