The forecast for tonight's Rams-Seahawks game calls for a 40-50% chance of rain with winds around 20 mph and gusts up over 30. The rain shouldn't be impactful, but the wind will be. Per Rotogrinders' Kevin Roth, we could see gusts of 30-40 mph in the first half, tapering off to around 30 mph in the second. We'd shy away from using either kicker in this game. We're not adjusting projections for the offenses but could certainly see both teams lean a bit more toward the run. This was already a tough spot for QB Matt Stafford, on the road against a tough defense and without WR Davante Adams.

Harrison Mevis will kick for the Rams against the 49ers this weekend, HC Sean McVay announced on Friday. K Joshua Karty has missed 3 FGs and 2 XPs over his last four games. McVay said Karty "isn't going anywhere," but it's unclear when he'll get back in the lineup. Mevis went undrafted in 2024 and has yet to attempt a kick in the regular season. He made 84% of his FG tries in four college seasons.

The Jets signed 40-year-old K Nick Folk to a one-year deal. He spent 2010-2016 with the Jets but most recently spent time in Tennessee. From 2023-2024, he made 50 of 52 attempts (96.1%). Folk should win the Week 1 job over 2024 UDFA Harrison Mevis, but it's best to avoid both guys on draft day.
