Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd (knee), S Darnell Savage (quad), and Edge Josh Hines-Allen (concussion) are officially active for today's game against the Colts. Hines-Allen arrives as easiy the top IDP prospect among them. Lloyd figures to be usable as well, especially with lead LB Foye Oluokun on short-term IR.

Jaguars Edge Josh Hines-Allen has cleared the concussion protocol and will play today against the Colts. Use him as you normally would in IDP lineups.

Jaguars Edge Josh Hines-Allen entered the concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's loss at Houston late. We'll see how he progresses ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET game against the Colts.

Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Texans. With LB Foye Oluokun already on IR for a foot injury, that leaves Ventrel Miller and Chad Muma as the top 2 LBs for the game. It's tough to know exactly how much playing time to expect for either reserve. Oluokun dipped to 80-85% as the corps leader over the first two weeks, with Miller and Muma rotating in more than the Nos. 3-4 LBs did over the past couple of seasons. Each guy is a low-level IDP option for Week 4, though, with upside beyond their spots in our rankings. S Darnell Savage (quad) is also inactive.

The Jaguars have placed LB Foye Oluokun on IR for plantar fasciitis. That means he'll miss at least the next four games. Chad Muma and Ventrell Miller will each see playing-time boosts in Oluokun's absence. We'll have to see how the whole LB picture plays out, though. Muma has worked as the No. 3 LB for the Jaguars the past two years, but Miller played one more snap in last week's loss at Buffalo. LB Devin Lloyd is also questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans because of a knee injury. If Lloyd can't go, then Muma and Miller should both be in for starter-level snaps. Cameron DaSilva of Jaguars Wire reports that Lloyd's "expected to be OK" for the Houston game, though.

Jaguars LB Foye Oluokun is "expected to miss several weeks" with plantar fasciitis, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. We'll watch for further details on his expected return timeline, but this is an issue that tends to linger. Players often play through plantar fasciitis, including Chargers QB Justin Herbert earlier this season. That Oluokun is expected to miss time suggests a more serious case. Jacksonville will increase the roles of LB Ventrell Miller and Chad Muma in Oluokun's absence. We'll see exactly how playing time breaks down.

SI.com's John Shipley calls LB Devin Lloyd the biggest defensive "winner" this offseason among Jaguars. "He looked like he got noticeably bigger in terms of muscle mass," Shipley writes. "Lloyd looked and sounded significantly more confident and aggressive as well, which could be the key to him having a breakout season."

Jaguars S Andre Cisco (groin) and CB Tyson Campbell (quad) are active for today's game against the Buccaneers. Each remained limited in practice all week and carries some risk, but use them as planned if you've waited for either player.

The Jaguars have downgraded CB Tyson Campbell (quad) from questionable to out for Sunday's game against the Browns. That leaves Jacksonville down two of its top three corners, as CB Tre Herndon is out with a concussion. Those injuries could give a slight boost to the Cleveland passing game, though it's still not a high-value situation for fantasy lineups.

Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) is active for tonight's game against the Bengals. He missed the past two games and hasn't played a full game since Week 6 because of the injury. Campbell also remained limited throughout the practice week. So he'll be a risky IDP play until he gets through a full game. But he's available if you waited for him in your Week 13 lineup.

Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Bengals. He remained limited in practice all week. We wouldn't wait on Campbell for IDP lineups. The injury has cost him four of the past five games, and Campbell aggravated the injury in the one he did play.

The Jaguars have ruled CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Titans. Campbell left Week 6 early with the injury. He missed the next two games. Then he returned for Week 10 after the bye and left the game early with the same injury. Campbell then missed practice all week before being ruled out. That doesn't bode well for his Week 12 outlook. We'll see about his status heading into that game.

Jaguars S Andre Cisco (hamstring) and CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) are active for today's game against the 49ers. Use them as planned in your IDP lineups.

Jaguars S Andre Cisco (hamstring) and CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) are inactive for today's game against the Steelers.

Jaguars S Andre Cisco (hamstring) and CB Tyson Campbell (hamstring) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Both guys put in limited practices all week. We'll check their statuses Sunday.

Jaguars CB Tyson Campbell left in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Colts with a hamstring injury. He's questionable to return.

Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd is active for today's game against the Colts. He missed the past 2 games after surgery to repair his right thumb. Lloyd's return today should knock LB Chad Muma back down to a part-time role.

Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd (thumb) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts. He said earlier in the week that he'd be ready to play with a cast on the repaired thumb. We'll check Lloyd's status Sunday morning. If he can't go, Chad Muma would get another game in his place.

Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd had surgery Wednesday on the right thumb he injured in Sunday's loss to the Texans. He will not travel with the team for its two-game visit to London. That means fellow second-year LB Chad Muma will jump into the starting lineup the next two weeks. Muma got two starts in place of Lloyd last season, delivering 9 and 11 tackles in those games. He added 1.5 sacks in the second. Muma looks at least as good for IDP lineups as Lloyd, and quite possibly better. Lloyd has been a shaky performer since arriving late in the first round of the 2022 draft.

Jaguars Edge Josh Allen (shoulder) is active for today's game against the Texans. He and the Jaguars' team defense are in a high-upside spot for Week 3.
