Browns QB Baker Mayfield, QB Case Keenum, WR Jarvis Landry and TE Austin Hooper will not be activated from the COVID list for tonight's game vs. the Raiders, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. So QB Nick Mullens will get the start for Cleveland. His top 2 WRs figure to be Donovan Peoples-Jones and Rashard Higgins. David Njoku should top the TE depth chart. We'll see if TE Harrison Bryant (ankle) is able to play. Expect a run-heavy game plan featuring Nick Chubb from the Browns.

Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Ravens. He only got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday, so DPJ figures to be operating at less than 100%. WR Rashard Higgins is a healthy scratch tonight.

Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Lions. Rashard Higgins figures to operate as Cleveland’s #2 WR but would be a desperation fantasy play. Expect QB Baker Mayfield to hand it off a bunch today.

Insider Michael Silver reports that Browns HC Kevin Stefanski told his team today that WR Odell Beckham is "essentially not on the team right now." Stefanski didn't reveal much in his press conference, only confirming that Beckham was excused from Wednesday's practice and that the 2 haven't spoken over the past 24 hours. We'll continue to keep an eye on this situation, but it sure seems like Beckham's time with the Browns might be over. His absence would leave Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins and Donovan Peoples-Jones as Cleveland's top 3 WRs. (Peoples-Jones is expected to return to practice from his groin injury today.)

Browns WR Jarvis Landry (knee) was not elevated to the active roster on Saturday and won't play against the Cardinals tomorrow. Landry got back on the practice field this week and seems likely to return for Week 7's game vs. the Broncos. Rashard Higgins and Donovan Peoples-Jones will continue to serve as Cleveland's #2 and #3 WRs tomorrow.

According to Zac Jackson of The Athletic, Browns WR Donovan Peoples-Jones is "absolutely lighting up training camp." The 2nd-year wideout is reportedly impressing with his size, speed and hands, and showing a good connection with QB Baker Mayfield. This unpadded portion of workouts is ideal for WRs to stand out, of course, but DPJ could be winning the #3 job. He's competing primarily with Rashard Higgins, who returned on a 1-year deal in free agency. We certainly liked the athletic upside on Peoples-Jones, who arrived as a 6th-round pick despite a stellar Combine workout. He's at least worth hanging onto in dynasty leagues where possible. Another injury to Odell Beckham or Jarvis Landry this year would present intriguing opportunity.

The Browns are re-signing WR Rashard Higgins to a 1-year deal with $2.38 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter. It's good for Higgins' outlook that he stays with the team and QB that know him, but the money involved doesn't necessarily point to him commanding a key role. We'll see how the WR corps settles out in Cleveland.

Browns WRs Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, KhaDarel Hodge and Donovan Peoples-Jones have been activated from the COVID list. Barring a positive test, they'll all be back for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers.

Browns WRs Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge are eligible to be activated from the COVID list on Thursday if they continue to test negative, HC Kevin Stefanski said. So all 4 guys should be back for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. We'll continue to monitor the situation.

Browns WRs Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge have been placed on the COVID list as high-risk close contacts and are out for Sunday's game against the Jets. Those are Cleveland's top 4 WRs. Marvin Hall is the only other WR on the active roster. Ja'Marcus Bradley and Derrick Willies are on the practice squad. We wouldn't mess with that situation in Week 16 fantasy lineups. TEs Austin Hooper, Harrison Bryant and David Njoku should be busy tomorrow. Baker Mayfield, meanwhile, goes from a solid QB1 play to a shaky QB2. Expect a run-heavy game plan from Cleveland.

Update: Bradley and Willies have been promoted from the practice squad.

The forecast for today's Raiders-Browns game calls for sustained winds of 25-30 mph with gusts around 45 mph. If that holds, it'll be 1 of the windier games in recent memory. It'll definitely impact the deep passing and kicking games. We've scaled back our passing projections for both teams and would avoid both kickers in this game. We could see heavy doses of RBs Josh Jacobs and Kareem Hunt today.

The Browns have re-signed WR Rashard Higgins to a 1-year deal. His 2019 season was derailed by a knee injury, but Higgins went for 572 yards and 4 TDs on 39 catches in 2018. Consider him the early favorite for Cleveland's #3 WR job this year -- with Taywan Taylor, Damion Ratley, KhaDarel Hodge and rookie Donovan Peoples-Jones as the competition.

The Browns have released WR Antonio Callaway. He slipped to the the 4th round of the 2018 draft due to a plethora of off-field issues -- and that continued in Cleveland. We'll see if the 22-year-old gets another shot elsewhere. Rashard Higgins is back as the Browns' #3 WR but isn't a fantasy option unless we see this passing game get rolling.

Browns WR Antonio Callaway is a healthy scratch for today's game against the Bills. He's been serving as Cleveland's #3 WR -- a role that now figures to go back to Rashard Higgins. Higgins isn't a viable Week 10 fantasy play, but he's worth keeping an eye on today.

Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) isn't listed on the final Week 6 injury report. But HC Freddie Kitchens wouldn't say whether Higgins will play against the Seahawks on Sunday, according to insider Scott Petrak. Higgins operated as Cleveland's #3 WR in Week 1, but WR Antonio Callaway is in the mix now. Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry are the only Browns who should be in Week 6 fantasy lineups.

Browns WR Rashard Higgins is inactive for tonight's game against the 49ers. It marks the 4th straight game he will have missed because of his knee injury. We'll see whether Antonio Callaway can wrest #3 WR duties from Damion Ratley in his return from a 4-game league drug suspension.

Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) is inactive for today’s game against the Ravens. Damion Ratley will again serve as Cleveland's #3 WR.

The Browns list WR Rashard Higgins (knee) as questionable for this weekend's game against the Ravens. He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday, though, so we're not expecting him to play. That'd again leave Damion Ratley as Cleveland's #3 WR.

Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) is inactive for tonight’s game against the Rams. Damion Ratley operated as Cleveland’s #3 WR with Higgins out last week.
