Rhamondre Stevenson Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (concussion) is active for today’s game vs. the Browns. J.J. Taylor is also active, joining Stevenson and Brandon Bolden in the backfield. We’re expecting all 3 to be involved today, with Stevenson the best bet for carries and Bolden likely to lead in targets.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (concussion) is expected to play vs. the Browns today. The rookie missed all 3 practices this week, which might impact his role in the game plan today. But we'd still consider him the favorite to lead New England in carries. RB Brandon Bolden might still take on a bigger ball-carrying role and should handle most of the pass-catching work.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (concussion) has a "real shot" to play vs. the Browns today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It sounds like Stevenson will try to get medical clearance this morning. We'll get New England's inactives around 11:30 am ET. With RB Damien Harris (concussion) out, an active Stevenson would be the favorite to lead the Patriots in carries today.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (concussion) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. RB Rhamondre Stevenson (concussion) is still listed as questionable and evidently has a shot to be cleared by tomorrow. We'll keep you updated on his status.

The Patriots list RBs Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Browns with their concussions. Neither guy practiced at all this week, so we’d be surprised if they were cleared by Sunday. Their absences would leave New England’s backfield to Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor. Bolden would be the preferred fantasy play as a borderline RB2 in that case.

Patriots RBs Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson missed practice again on Thursday with their concussions. Both guys now look unlikely to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Browns. Their absences would leave New England's backfield to Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor.

Patriots RBs Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson missed Wednesday's practice with their concussions. They both have a long way to go to get cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor are New England's healthy RBs right now.

The Boston Herald's Karen Guregian confirms that Patriots RBs Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson are in the concussion protocol. That makes them both iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Browns. Their absences would leave New England's backfield to Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor. We'll keep you updated on Harris and Stevenson's statuses.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson was knocked out in the 4th quarter of Sunday's win over the Panthers with a head injury. He had a productive outing before exiting, carrying 10 times for 62 yards and caught both of his targets for 44 yards. We'll look for an update on his status on Monday.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson is a healthy scratch for today's game against the Jets. New England is going back to RB J.J. Taylor alongside RBs Damien Harris and Brandon Bolden. Stevenson's absence makes Harris a slightly safer fantasy play.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (ribs) is active for today’s game vs. the Cowboys. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday and was listed as questionable on the final injury report. Between the rib injury and last week’s goal-line fumble, Harris is a risky fantasy play today. Rookie RB Rhamondre Stevenson could play an expanded role. RB J.J. Taylor is a healthy scratch again today.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (ribs) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Cowboys. He got in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Besides the rib injury, Harris also lost a goal-line fumble last week. It all has his Week 6 role a bit uncertain. If Harris doesn't play on Sunday, rookie Rhamondre Stevenson would be the favorite for lead-back duties.

Patriots RB Damien Harris (ribs) did not practice on Wednesday. He never re-entered last week's game after hurting his ribs and is seemingly in danger of missing Sunday's game vs. the Cowboys. That'd likely put rookie RB Rhamondre Stevenson in a lead ball-carrying role. We'll get another update on Harris tomorrow.

The chest and rib injuries Patriots RB Damien Harris suffered in the win over the Texans are not significant, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "He’s best described as day-to-day," Rapoport adds. We'll keep an eye on Harris' status throughout this week. If he's not able to play vs. the Cowboys on Sunday, it'd likely be rookie RB Rhamondre Stevenson as New England's lead ball carrier.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson is a healthy scratch for tonight's game against the Bucs -- despite RB James White's absence. That leaves just Damien Harris, Brandon Bolden and J.J. Taylor in New England's backfield.

Patriots RB James White is expected to miss the rest of the season with his hip injury, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. It's a significant loss, as White had racked up 13 targets through the first 2 weeks of the season. We're intrigued to see who steps into the all-important pass-catching back role for the Patriots. It was special-teamer Brandon Bolden after White exited last week.

Patriots RB James White is "out indefinitely" after suffering a hip subluxation in Sunday's loss to the Saints, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It's the same injury Washington QB Ryan Fitzpatrick suffered in Week 1. We'll look for a more concrete timetable for White's return, but it sounds like he's at least headed to short-term IR. White is droppable in shallower fantasy leagues. Brandon Bolden stepped in as New England's lead passing-down back in Week 3, but we'll see what the Patriots do this coming week. RB Damien Harris could pick up more passing-game work -- or New England could use a bit more of RBs J.J. Taylor or Rhamondre Stevenson.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson is a healthy scratch for today’s game vs. the Jets. The rookie fumbled and blew a blitz pickup in the opener. RB J.J. Taylor is active in Stevenson’s place, but RB Damien Harris should dominate carries for New England.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson will be available for Sunday’s opener against the Dolphins, despite dislocating a thumb in practice last week. The rookie figures to be 2nd in line for carries behind RB Damien Harris but isn’t a viable Week 1 fantasy play.
