Bengals rookie LT Anthony Collins and LG Nate Livings are making their first career starts at Pittsburgh. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is gonna need paramedics on stand-by. The Elias Sports Bureau reports the last team to field 2 offensive linemen making their first starts was Green Bay in 2006 (guards Tony Moll & Jason Spitz).

Bengals QB Ryan Fitzpatrick might be without LG Andrew Whitwirth (ankle) and LT Levi Jones (leg/shoulder) on Thursday night. The Steelers will go for blood.

Chris Mortensen just said he believes QB Carson Palmer (elbow) is "very iffy" for week 5 at Dallas. "From what I'm hearing, there's a lot of inflammation and swelling in there," Mortensen added. If Palmer can't go it will be Ryan Fitzpatrick starting. They might have to sign another veteran to back Fitzpatrick up too - because the new #2 would be Carson's younger brother Jordan Palmer.

Bengals reporter Mark Curnutte writes  "Carson Palmer said he plans on playing Sunday in Dallas but, as a player, will defer to team doctors. The ligament in Palmer's right elbow is not damaged and he does not require surgery. If he were a baseball pitcher, he would be out four to six weeks. Palmer is receiving medical treatment that includes a combination of laser use to reduce the inflammation and two to three hours of physical therapy. Palmer said he was injured in the first quarter against the Giants when his arm was grabbed by a defender when he was trying to throw the ball."
