MarShawn Lloyd Is Healthy! (For Now)

Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd has appeared in just one regular-season game since Green Bay took him in Round 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Hamstring, ankle, groin, and calf injuries, plus an appendectomy, have kept him off the field. But RBs coach Ben Sirmans said this week that Lloyd is healthy now, and the team is optimistic he'll contribute in 2026.

Packers To Rest Starters In Week 18

The Packers are expected to rest starters in next weekend's regular-season finale vs. the Vikings, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Green Bay's loss to the Ravens on Saturday night locked them into the NFC's No. 7 seed. RB Josh Jacobs, who's been battling injuries for most of the season, is the most obvious candidate to sit. That'd leave Emanuel Wilson as the lead back. QB Jordan Love could also sit part or all of the game. We'll look for more details on Green Bay's plans. The matchup against a red-hot Minnesota defense makes all Packers less intriguing in Week 18 fantasy lineups.

Jordan Love Won't Play Week 17, Malik Willis Expected To Start

Packers QB Jordan Love (concussion) won't play vs. the Ravens on Saturday night, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Love was limited in practice all week and should be cleared in time for Week 18. QB Malik Willis, who's also listed as questionable with a right shoulder injury, is expected to start against Baltimore, per Schefter. We've had it projected that way all week, so there are no changes to the Week 17 rankings. Expect an extremely run-heavy game from Green Bay.

Josh Jacobs Will Play Week 17

Packers RB Josh Jacobs (knee, ankle) is not listed on the final Week 17 injury report. He was limited in practice all week, so it's safe to assume that he's still not at 100%. But the fact that he dodged a 'questionable' tag might suggest that he's in better shape than he was heading into last weekend's game vs. the Bears. Jacobs carried just 12 times in that one. We're projecting him for more work vs. Baltimore -- although still not a full workload.

        Josh Jacobs Aggravated Knee Injury

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Packers RB Josh Jacobs aggravated his knee injury in Saturday night's loss to the Bears. Jacobs finished with just 48 total yards on 14 touches, with his last touch coming midway through the third quarter. RB Emanuel Wilson wound up leading Green Bay with 14 carries and 82 rushing yards. He needs to be stashed in all fantasy leagues while we wait to see on Jacobs' status for next Saturday night's game vs. the Ravens.

Josh Jacobs Struggles Through Knee Injury

Give Josh Jacobs credit for trying to play through a knee injury after he missed practice all week, but fantasy managers would have been better off if Jacobs had rested. Jacobs mustered only 36 yards on 12 carries in Green Bay's 22-16 overtime loss to the Bears. He chipped in a pair of receptions for 12 yards, but Jacobs' 6.8 PPR points were his second-lowest total of the season and came at the worst time, in the semi-finals.

Josh Jacobs Questionable For Week 16

Packers RB Josh Jacobs (knee, ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday night's game vs. the Bears. He didn't practice all week. Jacobs has been battling through injuries -- particularly this knee issue -- for much of the season but has only missed one game. We're tentatively expecting him to play in this huge divisional game, but it's certainly not a lock. We'll keep you updated on Jacobs' status and get Green Bay's inactives a little before 7 pm ET on Saturday. If Jacobs is unable to go, RB Emanuel Wilson would turn into a strong fantasy start. He carried 28 times for 107 yards and two TDs when Jacobs missed Week 12.

Josh Jacobs Expected To Play Week 15

Packers RB Josh Jacobs (knee) is expected to play vs. the Broncos today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jacobs dealt with knee swelling throughout the week and is listed as questionable. Schefter adds that Green Bay will be "mindful that it has another game in six days in Chicago." It's worth noting that Jacobs' volume was scaled back as he dealt with a calf injury earlier this season. He averaged 14.3 carries and 3.0 targets per game on a 56% snap rate in a three-game stretch from Weeks 7 through 9. It wouldn't be a surprise to see similar deployment today. Jacobs sits a little lower than usual in the Week 15 RB rankings but should remain in the vast majority of fantasy lineups. RB Emanuel Wilson (illness) will see how he feels today before deciding whether he can play vs. Denver.

Josh Jacobs Off Final Week 13 Injury Report

Packers RB Josh Jacobs (knee) is not listed on the final Week 13 injury report. He'll play vs. the Lions tomorrow. Jacobs was limited in practice on the short week and probably still isn't at 100%. We could see Green Bay scale back his workload a little in Detroit, but Jacobs is still a nice fantasy play. He sits 11th in the Week 13 RB rankings.

Josh Jacobs Expected To Play Week 13

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms that Packers RB Josh Jacobs is expected to return for Thursday's game vs. the Lions. Jacobs is working back from a thigh contusion and bone bruise to his knee. He was limited in Tuesday's practice. We'll see what he does on Wednesday and how he's listed on the final injury report, but Jacobs can be penciled back into Week 13 fantasy lineups for now.

Josh Jacobs' Knee Injury Not Season Ending

Packers RB Josh Jacobs' knee injury is not believed to be season ending, but he's set for additional testing on Monday, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. It's relatively good news -- but still a bit ominous. Jacobs owners should be bracing for him to miss some time, but we should learn more tomorrow. RB Emanuel Wilson operated as Green Bay’s clear lead back after Jacobs exited, out-carrying RB Chris Brooks 11 to 0. Wilson tallied 40 yards and a score, adding 11 yards on his lone catch. He’s looking at a strong role if Jacobs misses more time, although the next two weeks bring tough matchups against the Vikings and Lions. That’s followed by a plus draw against the Bears.

        Josh Jacobs Hurts Knee

Packers RB Josh Jacobs is questionable to return to today's game vs. the Giants with a knee injury. He got hurt in the first quarter, briefly returned, but then headed back to the locker room with trainers. We'll update his status when we know more. Jacobs' absence leaves Emanuel Wilson as Green Bay's lead back, with Chris Brooks behind him.

Update: Jacobs has been ruled out.

Josh Jacobs is Healthy and Dominating Work

Packers RB Josh Jacobs hasn't missed any games this year. But he did play through a calf injury for at least a couple of games, and a look at his snap shares and workloads indicates some impact. Jacobs got back to full playing time in Monday night's loss to the Eagles, though, and carried the offense. He handled 21 of 22 Green Bay RB carries for 74 yards and a TD. Jacobs also tallied a team-high 5 receptions for 33 yards on six targets (second among Packers). He did lost a fumble on his final touch, though, trying to extend a play on a fourth-and-1.
