Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad) missed practice again on Thursday. We might be looking at another game of Zamir White as lead back against the Colts this weekend. We'll see if Jacobs gets on the field tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, illness) returned to a limited practice on Friday. We're tentatively expecting him to play vs. the Chiefs on Monday afternoon, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs' status for Thursday night's game vs. the Chargers is "firmly in doubt," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jacobs did not practice at all this week with his quad injury. We have him projected to miss this game, leaving the backfield to Zamir White and Ameer Abdullah. We'll get Las Vegas' inactives a little before 7 pm ET tonight.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs did not practice on Tuesday. He's on the injury report with a quad, rather than the previously reported knee. Regardless, Jacobs doesn't look particularly likely to play vs. the Chargers on Thursday night. That'd leave RB Zamir White as Vegas' likely lead ball carrier, with RB Ameer Abdullah handling passing-game work.

Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo (back) is not listed on the final Week 8 injury report and will start Monday night's game vs. the Lions. Garoppolo's return is good news for Vegas' skill-position players, but he's a low-end QB2 in fantasy lineups.

The Athletic's Vic Tafur believes there's a "good chance [Raiders RB Zamir] White will get his first serious action of the season" vs. the Chiefs on Saturday. RB Josh Jacobs is listed as questionable with hip and oblique injuries and missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices due to a personal issue. The Raiders have nothing to play for in the finale, so it'd make sense for them to get a look at White -- especially with Jacobs set to hit free agency in March. White is only worth considering in Saturday DFS contests, but Jacobs' floor and ceiling is lower in Week 18 than it's been all season.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (hip, oblique) did not practice on Wednesday. The team's official website characterizes Jacobs' absence from practice as a personal day. Thursday's injury report will shed more light on whether or not the veteran will be able to suit up for Saturday's Week 18 game vs. the Chiefs. We'll keep an eye on this as more information becomes available.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quad, hand) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He played through what looked like a painful hand injury in last Thursday night's loss to the Rams. He should be available for this weekend's game vs. the Patriots, but we'll get another update on Jacobs tomorrow.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs hurt his right hand in the 2nd half of Thursday night's game against the Rams. He's officially questionable to return.

Update: Jacobs did return in the 3rd quarter.

For the 2nd straight week, Raiders RB Josh Jacobs cast aside a "questionable" tag and delivered a big game. Despite reporter warnings that the team would need to manage Jacobs' calf injury, he racked up 144 yards and a TD on 26 carries in Sunday's win over the Chargers. Jacobs is working on a streak of 3 straight 100+ yard games and hasn't logged fewer than 21 carries since Week 9. He added 2 catches for 6 yards Sunday. RBs Zamir White and Amber Abdullah combined for just 3 touches against the Chargers. Week 14 brings a matchup with a Rams defense that expects to miss Aaron Donald for the 2nd straight game. The short turnaround could challenge Jacobs' calf ... though it looks like a calf-questionable Jacobs might be the best version of him.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) is active for today’s game vs. the Chargers. He played through this injury last week – and ripped off 303 total yards – so it’s not a major concern.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) will play vs. the Chargers later today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. So Jacobs evidently didn't need to pass a pregame test to get the green light. Considering he went for 303 total yards playing through this calf injury last week, we're not too worried about it today.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) remained limited in Thursday's practice. We're expecting him to play through this injury vs. the Chargers on Sunday, like he did last weekend when he dismantled the Seahawks.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) was limited in Wednesday's practice. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero set off alarms with a Tuesday tweet that suggested Jacobs might not play vs. the Chargers this weekend. But getting in a limited practice on Wednesday -- after dominating with this injury this past Sunday -- suggests that Jacobs will be available. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

2:39pm EST 11/27/22

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs is active for today’s game vs. the Seahawks. He was added to the injury report and limited in Friday’s practice with a calf. He evidently looked and felt good enough in pregame warmups, though, and we haven’t heard anything about him being limited today.

ESPN's Adam Schefter calls Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (calf) "likely" to play against the Seahawks today, barring a pregame setback. Jacobs was added to the injury report on Friday and listed as questionable, which certainly adds risk to his Week 12 fantasy profile. But he'd be tough to bench if he ends up active. Raiders-Seahawks doesn't kick off until 4:05 pm ET, so Jacobs owners would be wise to have a late-game alternative lined up just in case Jacobs ends up missing this one.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs is questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks after suffering an apparent calf injury in Friday's practice. We haven't seen details on the issue, so we'll need to watch his status throughout the weekend.
