The Titans have ruled LBs David Long and Rashaan Evans out for Sunday's game against the Patriots. That leaves Jayon Brown and Monty Rice as the starters, with Brown the top choice for IDP lineups.

The Dolphins have agreed to a two-year, $11 million deal with LB David Long Jr., according to multiple reports. Long spent nearly all of the past two seasons starting for the Titans, though he lost 11 games to injuries over that span. Long has been productive -- fantasy wise -- since stepping into the lineup. He has a shot to be the top fantasy producer in a Miami LB corps that has seen Jerome Baker lead the scoring over the past several years. But Baker's play -- and playing time -- has wavered. Long doesn't figure to excite fantasy players, so expect to be able to select him later in 2023 redraft IDP leagues.

The Titans placed LB David Long Jr. (hamstring) on IR ahead of Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. That knocks him out at least through Week 17. LB Monty Rice started in Long's plays against Jacksonville and logged 12 tackles. Expect to see him in Tuesday's IDP waiver-wire article.

Titans LB David Long left in the 1st half of Sunday's loss to the Eagles with a hamstring injury and was ruled out not long after. That doesn't bode well for his Week 14 status, but we'll watch for an update from the team. LB Joe Schobert replaced Long and would seem to be in line to start if Long can't go. LB Dylan Cole also started his 2nd straight game in place of Zach Cunningham (IR).

He followed a limited Wednesday by missing practice Thursday and Friday. No Evans would leave Jayon Brown and rookie Monty Rice as the off-ball LBs. Brown played 70% of the snaps in Sunday night's win over the Rams, his return from a knee sprain that landed him on IR. We're betting that Brown increases that playing time and leads Evans or Rice in that category. He supplied 7 solos last week and should be a solid bet for at least LB3 production vs. New Orleans -- with upside beyond that.
