Making his first start since 2022, Browns QB Jameis Winston tallied 334 yards and 3 TDs against the Ravens. The former Buc completed 27 of 41 passes with only one turnover – a second-quarter sack/fumble.
So...Winston wasn’t perfect in this one. He threw at least two passes that were dropped INTs – including one that should have ended the game late.
Given new life, Winston hit second-year WR Cedric Tillman for a deep ball score with only a minute left. On the day, Tillman notched team-highs in yards (99) and TDs (2).
Winston’s other score went to David Njoku on a nice ball thrown into tight coverage.
Week 9 turns up a tougher matchup vs. the Chargers. But Winston showed enough today to at least deserve another look in superflex formats. After that comes a Week 10 bye.
