It's fun that the Colts almost upset the Seahawks in QB Philip Rivers' first game since 2020. But he certainly didn't boost the fantasy fortunes of anyone around him. Rivers completed a solid 18 of his 27 throws (66.7% completions) and found Josh Downs for an 8-yard TD. But he totaled just 120 yards (4.44 yards per attempt) and added an INT as well.

According to the official Gamebook, Rivers completed just one throw beyond the "short" range: a 16-yard connection with WR Alec Pierce in the fourth quarter.
No. 2 RB Ameer Abdullah was the only Colt to catch more than three passes, posting a 5-32 receiving line on five targets.
TE Tyler Warren drew a team-high six targets, catching three balls for 19 yards.
Downs, WR Michael Pittman Jr., and RB Jonathan Taylor each caught three balls apiece as well. The aforementioned completion to Pierce marked the wideout's only targetr of the game.
Granted, this was Rivers' first game back after a five-year layoff, and a difficult matchup. But he didn't show anything at Seattle that should get you excited about Colts pass-catchers for a Week 16 home date with San Francisco.
That's a friendlier matchup, at least, for the fringe lineup contenders.
