Bills GM Brandon Beane said a key offseason priority is finding a way to keep TE Dalton Kincaid healthy. Kincaid has dealt with multiple knee injuries, plus hamstring and oblique issues, over the past two seasons. "Our number one thing with Dalton is to see if we can get him in a healthier fashion this year, so that we don't have to A: miss games, and then B: limit how much he's playing," Beane said.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
"Limit how much he's playing" is the key takeaway here.
Kincaid's route rate has declined in each of his three NFL seasons -- from 70% as a rookie to 61% in 2024 to 52% last year. It wasn't clear whether that trend reflected Buffalo's long-term plan or simply Kincaid's injury issues. Beane's comments suggest health has been the primary factor.
More playing time could unlock a big fantasy season. Kincaid was excellent on a per-route basis last year, leading all TEs in both targets per route and yards per route.
We'll keep a close eye on Kincaid's health this offseason. He again opted against surgery on the torn PCL he suffered in 2024. If he can finally put that injury behind him, Kincaid could emerge as a strong value in 2026 fantasy drafts.
