Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan singled out TE Greg Dulcich as a player he's excited about taking a leap in 2026. "I thought he had a really good back end of the season, and I want to see if he can build on that," Sullivan said on Kevin Clark's This is Football. "That’s why we brought him back."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Dulcich found significant playing time over the final nine games of last season, running a route on 51% of Dolphins pass plays. He averaged 3.7 targets, 2.9 catches, and 37.2 yards per game.
It wasn't enough to make him a real fantasy factor, but Dulcich played well. He caught 78.8% of his targets and averaged 12.9 yards per catch over those nine games. His 2.48 yards per route ranked third among 41 qualifying TEs, behind only Dalton Kincaid and George Kittle.
Dulcich's NFL career so far has been marred by injury. But he was an intriguing prospect coming out of UCLA, where he tallied 1,242 yards and 10 TDs over his final two seasons. He's averaged a strong 11.9 yards per catch as a pro.
It's noteworthy that a brand-new Dolphins regime -- led by Sullivan and HC Jeff Hafley -- opted to bring Dulcich back on a one-year, $3.25 million deal. Miami is a candidate to add a TE in this month's draft, but Dulcich seemingly has a good chance to open the season in a starting role.
And, while the Fins won't pass much under QB Malik Willis, Dulcich could carve out a significant target share amid a WR corps currently led by Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, and Tutu Atwell.
Highlight Dulcich as an intriguing TE3 target in early best-ball drafts. He could emerge as a fantasy spot starter this season.
