Titans WR Wan'Dale Robinson managed just a single catch (for 9 yards) on his lone target in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. That did follow a 5-catch opener, but Robinson tied for just third among Tennessee wideouts in playing time Sunday and is averaging a mere 7.8 yards per catch so far.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: There's No Upside to Chase
It's tough to get many targets when your team only throws 20 passes in a game. But it's also difficult to generate receiving stats when your QB is working on 60% completions, a 2.7% TD rate, and 5.9 yards per pass attempt through 19 career games.
It's obviously still very early in Cam Ward's career, and there's plenty of time for him to improve. But he's not close to supporting true fantasy relevance for Robinson.
The fifth-year receiver has always primarily worked in the short range. That means Robinson needs target volume to produce. Through two games with the Titans, he has garnered as many looks (7) as TE Gunnar Helm, one more than RB Tyjae Spears and WR Elic Ayomanor, and four fewer than rookie WR Carnell Tate.
I'm not pronouncing Robinson's fantasy season dead after two weeks. But don't expect him to offer you much help.
Sunday's low passing volume was exacerbated by an effective running game and Tennessee hanging much closer than expected to the visiting Eagles. Robinson also fell back closer to Ayomanor and Calvin Ridley in usage, though.
Week 1 found these route counts, among 39 dropbacks:
- Tate 36 (92.3%)
- Robinson 34 (87.2%)
- Ridley 25 (64.1%)
- Ayomanor 21 (53.8%)
Week 2 looked like this (among 24 dropbacks):
- Tate 20 (83.3%)
- Robinson 18 (75%)
- Ridley 13 (54.2%)
- Ayomanor 13 (54.2%)
We should, at least, be able to expect more than 20 pass attempts in nearly every game going forward.
