Dalton Kincaid Headshot

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid caught 1 of 2 targets for 7 yards in Sunday's 29-26 loss to the Patriots. That added up to just 1.7 PPR points. He played only 35 of 59 snaps (59.3%) and ran 20 routes. Dawson Knox actually played more snaps (36) and matched Kincaid with 2 targets, catching both for 13 yards. Buffalo leaned on three-WR sets while playing from behind.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Target Rate Tumbles

Game script trimmed playing time for every Bills TE, but Kincaid's situational usage hasn't changed much this season. What has changed is how often he gets the ball. Kincaid earned a target on 30% or more of his routes in each of the first two weeks, but that fell to 10% on Sunday (2 of 20). The matchup didn't help. New England entered allowing the 2nd-fewest schedule-adjusted TE points (5.95 per game).

Buffalo visits the Rams on Monday night in Week 5 and the Raiders in Week 6, then has its bye in Week 7. The Rams allow the fewest adjusted TE points in the league (5.13 per game) and rank 4th in pass defense DVOA, which makes Week 5 a clear sit. Las Vegas is a much better spot, allowing the 4th-most TE points (20.28). Baltimore follows the bye, ranking 22nd (10.70). Kincaid can still be a low-end TE1, especially with the Bills unlikely to fall behind in many games this season.
