Packers WR Matthew Golden managed just 3 catches for 21 yards in Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay, but he salvaged the day by catching one of Jordan Love’s two TD passes. Golden’s 7 targets also tied for the team lead and accounted for a 23.3% team share.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Golden’s TD came from the two yard-line. He ran a speed out toward the pylon and made a nice midair adjustment to secure the catch.
Beyond that second-quarter highlight, Golden struggled to produce. He dropped one pass that was initially ruled a catch and a fumble. Later, he drew two deep targets, including one near the goal line. But neither Love pass arrived in a catchable range.
Golden has now finished at WR17, WR35, WR7, and WR33 in PPR setups. He’ll remain a startable fantasy asset back home for a Week 5 date with Chicago. Back in the Wild Card loss last season, Golden tallied a 4-84-1 line against the Bears.
Other Winners & Losers
Christian Watson posted his first down game of the season: 3 catches (on 3 targets) for 47 scoreless yards. He scored in three straight games prior to Sunday.
He nearly found the end zone, but his final catch was taken down to the 3 yard-line as he couldn't quite turn the corner on three Tampa Bay defenders.
Watson will remain an easy fantasy starter for the Chicago matchup.
