The Dolphins have signed WR Allen Hurns to a 1-year deal worth up to $3 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Recently cut by the Cowboys, Hurns is reportedly recovered from the dislocated ankle and broken leg he suffered during last year's playoffs. The 27-year-old has totaled just 1,256 yards over the past 3 seasons after that huge 1,031-yard, 10-TD 2015 campaign. Hurns should at least slide in as Miami's #4 WR and could push Kenny Stills, DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson for snaps. It'll be a situation to keep an eye on over the next month.

The team had a $9.4 million option on Parker but will presumably be paying him much less on this deal. The 14th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft has been a major disappointment through 4 seasons, compiling more missed games (11) than TDs (9). But he's still just 26 with a plus combination of size and athleticism. We'll see if Miami's new coaching staff can turn his career around. Parker should be considered just a late-round flier in early best-ball drafts.
