Chargers RB Omarion Hampton (ankle) is eligible to come off IR this week, but HC John Harbaugh said Monday that he doesn't expect the rookie back until after the Week 12 bye. It's not a major surprise considering Hampton was still in a walking boot about a week-and-a-half ago. He's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues, but Hampton owners should be prepared to be without him for another three weeks. RB Kimani Vidal again operated as Los Angeles' lead back in the Week 9 win over the Titans but busted with just 30 yards on 12 carries. RB Jaret Patterson notably out-snapped Vidal 11 to six in the fourth quarter, finishing with nine carries for 44 yards. Vidal remains the best fantasy bet in this backfield for Week 10, but the situation is a bit more volatile now than it was a couple of days ago.

Well, Popper has adjusted his projection now, moving him ahead of Isaiah Spiller and onto the final roster. The change comes after Vidal ran for 49 yards on 11 carries in his first preseason action (the team's second exhibition).

If you're hoping to use Gibson, add RB Jaret Patterson as the fall-back option if Gibson ends up inactive.
