RB Joe Mixon has told former Bengals teammates that he doesn't expect to play again, according to insider Aaron Wilson. Mixon missed all of 2025 with a mysterious foot injury and hasn't surfaced this offseason.

Mixon suffered a foot injury away from the team last offseason and missed the entire 2025 campaign. The move saves Houston $8 million in cap space.

He has one year but no guaranteed money left on his contract, so he'd be a relatively easy cut. Dynasty managers should not be counting on Mixon in 2026 or beyond. And he's probably best just avoiding in best-ball drafts until we know more about his health.
