The Dolphins have listed RB Reggie Bush (knee) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.  He practiced on both Thursday and Friday, and even worked with the 1st-team offense on Friday.  The Miami media is expecting Bush to play this weekend, and so are we.  He might be on a touch count, though, and he's up against a tough Cardinals defense.  Consider Bush just a low-end RB2 this week.  And you'd be smart to roster Daniel Thomas and/or Lamar Miller in case Bush ends up inactive.  Dolphins-Cardinals doesn't kick off until 4:05 pm ET.

Dolphins RB Lamar Miller still hasn't been cleared for contact after undergoing shoulder surgery last December.  He's expected to be ready by the time training camp opens though.  And Miller has been able to run, so he should be in fine shape.  Still, the missed practice time is bad news for a raw rooke like Miller.  He's not expected to play a significant offensive role in 2012.

Dolphins HC Joe Philbin revealed that the coaching staff is considering getting rookie RB Lamar Miller some time at WR this season.  "There's a chance down the road, as Lamar gets acclimated, that he might be able to spread himself a ways as a receiver to a certain degree," Philbin said. "I'm not saying make a full position change, but I think there's some flexibility with what you can do with the guy."  Miller is an elite athlete with 4.4 speed, but he's considered a raw runner and is buried on the depth chart behind Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas.  Using him at WR would be a way for Miami to get his playmaking ability on the field.  Miller is worth monitoring this summer, but he's unlikely to get enough touches to be a fantasy factor in 2012.

Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland considers 4th-round rookie Lamar Miller a "developmental RB."  Miller possesses 4.4 speed and good quicks, but he needs to pack some muscle onto his 5'11, 212-pound frame.  He also needs work in the passing game.  Miller is expected to see most of his action on special teams this year.  Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas will remain Miami's top-2 RBs.

The Dolphins traded up to select Miami RB Lamar Miller in the 4th round. It’s a bit of an odd pick on the surface, as the Fins already boast a solid 1-2 RB combo with Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas. But Miller, widely regarded as a 2nd or 3rd round prospect because of his speed and elusiveness, was unquestionably the most talented RB left on the board. He’ll come into the league as an injury risk, though. ESPNs Adam Schefter says some teams took Miller off their draft boards completely due to concerns with his knee. Miller also dealt with hamstring and shoulder injuries at Miami. Long-term, Miller looks like a dynamic change-of-pace option for the Fins, potentially replacing Bush.
