The Bears signed WR Tajae Sharpe to a 1-year deal. Sharpe has yet to top 41 catches or 522 yards across 5 NFL seasons. Even in a barren Chicago WR corps, he's not worth a look in early best-ball drafts.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley is INACTIVE for today's game vs. the Panthers due to a personal matter. He also missed Week 5 for the same reason. Ridley's absence leaves Atlanta with WRs Russell Gage, Olamide Zaccheaus and Tajae Sharpe atop the depth chart. TE Kyle Pitts and RB Cordarrelle Patterson should also play even bigger roles in the passing game.

Falcons WR Calvin Ridley did not travel with the team to London and is out for Sunday's game vs. the Jets due to a personal matter, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. We'll look for more info on the situation and whether Ridley will be out beyond Week 5. WR Russell Gage (ankle) is also out for Sunday's game, leaving Atlanta with WRs Olamide Zaccheaus, Tajae Sharpe and Christian Blake. We wouldn't mess with them in fantasy lineups. RB Cordarrelle Patterson will continue to play a big role in this passing game. And TE Kyle Pitts should see more volume with Ridley out.

Falcons WR Russell Gage (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Giants. That leaves Olamide Zaccheaus, Christian Blake and Tajae Sharp as Atlanta's 2nd through 4th WRs. None of those guys are viable fantasy options. Gage's absence should just mean a few extra targets for WR Calvin Ridley and TE Kyle Pitts.

The Vikings inked WR Tajae Sharpe to a 1-year deal. The 2016 5th-rounder totaled just 92 catches across 4 seasons in Tennessee, with nearly half of those coming in his rookie campaign. Sharpe will have a shot to win the #2 WR job in Minnesota -- although we expect the Vikings to add a rookie or 2 in next month's draft.

Titans WR Adam Humphries (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs after a limited week of practice. HC Mike Vrabel said Friday that he's "hopeful" to have Humphries available. If he's out, Tajae Sharpe will continue to serve as Tennessee's #3 WR.

Titans HC Mike Vrabel announced Monday that WR Corey Davis is in the concussion protocol. That makes him iffy for this weekend's must-win game against the Texans. Davis' absence would open up a few extra looks for WR A.J. Brown, WR Tajae Sharpe and TE Jonnu Smith.

Titans WR Adam Humphries (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Texans. A.J. Brown, Corey Davis and Tajae Sharpe will again serve as Tennessee’s top 3 WRs. Even in the plus matchup, Brown is the only one that can be trusted in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

The Tennessean reports that the Titans will place WR Tajae Sharpe on IR, ending his season. Sharpe had foot surgery in the offseason and reportedly re-injured the foot in Thursday night's preseason finale. The 2nd-year wideout would have been headed for a diminished role anyway after the Titans added Eric Decker, Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor at the position this offseason.

Titans WR Tajae Sharpe injured his foot last week and had surgery, HC Mike Mularkey announced Thursday. Sharpe is expected to be ready for training camp. Still, the missed time doesn't help a guy trying to hold off talented rookie Taywan Taylor for the #3 WR job. Neither Taylor nor Sharpe is on the redraft radar right now.

Titans WR Kendall Wright is inactive for today's game against the Broncos. He wasn't listed on the final injury report, so he looks like a healthy scratch. Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe will serve as Tennessee's top 2 WRs against Denver's stingy secondary.

Update: Wright was scratched after missing a team meeting on Saturday, according to insider Jim Wyatt.

Titans TE Delanie Walker (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Raiders. Tennessee will turn to some combination of Anthony Fasano, Phillip Supernaw and Jace Amaro. None of those guys should be in fantasy lineups. Walker’s absence makes WR Tajae Sharpe and even better target bet.

Titans WR Kendall Wright (hamstring) has been ruled out of Sunday's game vs. Minnesota. Increasingly injury-prone, Wright isn’t worth rostering in fantasy leagues. The Titans will start Rishard Matthews and rookie Tajae Sharpe to open the season.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota had more good things to say about rookie WR Tajae Sharpe on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Rand Getlin: “[Tajae] makes it easy...creates separation in and out of [routes]...going to continue to expect these kinds of things out of him.” It can only help a receiver when his QB knows what to expect from him. Each passing week makes Sharpe look more intriguing at the late-round draft price he has continued to carry.

Titans WR Tajae Sharpe hauled in 6 balls for 68 yards in Saturday's preseason game. All 6 grabs came from QB Marcus Mariota, who said afterward that Sharpe has "made it easy to trust him." HC Mike Mularkey added that the rookie has "gained the trust of the coaching staff." This all follows what's reportedly been an impressive spring and summer for Sharpe. He appears locked in to 1 of the starting outside WR spots and has a shot to lead Titans WRs in fantasy points.

The Titans on Tuesday morning traded WR Dorial Green-Beckham to the Eagles for swing O-lineman Dennis Kelly. This is the biggest statement to date against DGB's work ethic, which has been questioned and called out by Tennessee all offseason. If he finally gets his stuff together, though, he'll find a wide-open WR situation in Philly. The Eagles obviously remain unhappy with Nelson Agholor's development and couldn't have been impressed with Rueben Randle's preseason debut against the Bucs. Jordan Matthews, meanwhile, remains out with a knee bruise. Green-Beckham remains a hold in dynasty leagues, but you shouldn't be any more excited about his 2016 outlook today than you were yesterday. Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe, meanwhile, gain safety as late-round fantasy football draft picks without the spectre of DGB's talent looming.

The Tennessean reports that Titans rookie WR Tajae Sharpe continues to work with the 1st team, ahead of incumbent former 2nd-round picks Dorial Green-Beckham and Justin Hunter. “I would put him in the category of a natural football player who understands the game,” WRs coach Bob Bratkowski said. “He operates at a level of a third-year professional. He’s got it figured out. He knows what it takes to be a pro, which is rare for a rookie.” That doesn't sound like a guy who's about to cede his spot -- or a coach who's apprehensive about starting a 5th-round pick right away. The Tennessee offense doesn't sparkle with fantasy promise, but Sharpe's all upside with an ADP at the Round 19-20 turn. He's only even getting picked at all in about 32% of MFL10 drafts right now.

The Titans have signed WR Andre Johnson to a 2-year deal, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Johnson will go down as 1 of the best WRs of his generation, but there's not much gas left in his tank. He mustered just 41 catches, 503 yards and 4 TDs with the Colts last season. It was his 3rd straight year below 13 yards per catch. Hopefully Tennessee doesn't give him snaps at the expense of youngsters Dorial Green-Beckham, Kendall Wright, Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe.

Tajae Sharpe and Rishard Matthews emerged as the Titans' top 2 WRs in spring practices, according to insider Terry McCormick. Sharpe is a 5th-round rookie but generated buzz from coaches and media throughout OTAs. Matthews never carved out a significant role in Miami but was efficient with the targets he got. Tennessee's WR depth chart remains fluid, though, with Kendall Wright and Dorial Green-Beckham still squarely in the mix. DGB retains the highest upside of the group.

Titans rookie WR Tajae Sharpe is off to a strong start in spring practices. “He’s been the most consistent (receiver)," HC Mike Mularkey said. "And we’re letting guys who have been the most consistent get more reps.” Sharpe has worked in with the 1st-team offense in OTAs and minicamps. The 5th-rounder is a lanky 6’2, 194 pounds with subpar athleticism. But he racked up 196 catches, 2,600 yards and 12 scores over the past 2 seasons at UMass. Sharpe will head to training camp behind at least Dorial Green-Beckham, Kendall Wright and Rishard Matthews on the depth chart, but none of those guys are locked into roles. The rookie will be worth monitoring this summer.
