Lions RB Theo Riddick (wrist) is inactive for today’s game against the Giants. RB Zach Zenner (concussion) is active and will serve as the #2 RB behind Dwayne Washington. Washington is a solid bet for 15+ touches but is just a RB3 or flex against a tough Giants defense.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (wrist) didn’t practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Giants. His absence will again leave Dwayne Washington as Detroit’s lead back. He tallied 17 touches last week and could be looking at similar volume on Sunday. A tough Giants defense leaves Washington as just a RB3, though. RB Zach Zenner (concussion) is questionable after a limited week of practice.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (wrist) missed practice again on Thursday. He's in serious danger of missing his 2nd straight game. Riddick's absence would leave Dwayne Washington as Detroit's lead back. He totaled 17 touches last Sunday.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (wrist) did not practice on Wednesday. He put in 2 limited practices last week before being inactive on Sunday. We still don't have any details on his wrist injury. Check back tomorrow for another update.
Lions RB Zach Zenner was evaluated for a concussion during Sunday's game against the Bears. The team hasn't announced the result of those tests, but Zenner wasn't allowed to speak with the media afterward. That suggests he did indeed sustain a concussion, putting his Week 15 status in question. RB Theo Riddick missed the Bears game with a wrist injury, and his availability going forward remains unclear. RB Dwayne Washington could be in for another busy outing this coming weekend against the Giants.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (wrist) is a surprise inactive for today's game against the Bears. He was limited in practice this week, but there was no indication that he was in danger of missing this contest. Riddick's absence leaves the backfield to Dwayne Washington, Zach Zenner and the recently signed Joique Bell. Washington and Zenner figure to handle most of the work and are in the RB3 mix.
The Lions have added RB Joique Bell. It's a depth signing after RB Dwayne Washington injured his ankle last week. Look for Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner to serve as Detroit's top 2 RBs against the Bears on Sunday. Bell can safely be left on the waiver wire.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport calls WR Marvin Jones (thigh) a "long shot" to play against the Saints today. It's unfortunate news for a guy who needed a plus matchup like this. Jones' absence bumps up the target projections for Golden Tate, Anquan Boldin, Eric Ebron and Theo Riddick. Andre Roberts is expected to step in as Detroit's #3 WR but is a tough sell in fantasy lineups.
Lions RB Theo Riddick played through a hand injury in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. He was sporting a bloody wrap on it afterward, per insider Justin Rogers, and told reporters that the hand got caught in a helmet. He still caught 8 balls for 70 yards, although he was out-carried 13 to 4 by Dwayne Washington. Riddick has a quick turnaround for Thursday's game against the Vikings but expects to play. We'll keep an eye on him over the next few days.
Lions RB Dwayne Washington is inactive for today's game against the Texans. He wasn't listed on the final injury report, so this looks like a healthy scratch. Washington, for now, is behind Theo Riddick, Zach Zenner and Justin Forsett on the depth chart.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (ankle) practiced all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday. He's not listed on the final injury report and is set to play against the Texans on Sunday. Riddick averaged 10 carries and 6.4 targets per game before his injury and should be looking at similar volume now.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (ankle) put in a full practice on Thursday. He's set to return for this weekend's game against the Chiefs after missing the past 2. Riddick will at least reassume pass-catching duties out of the backfield. His rushing volume is less certain with RB Dwayne Washington (ankle) also expected back this week.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (ankle) returned to practice on Wednesday, giving him a shot to play against the Texans this weekend. Riddick should return to the same role that netted him 10 carries and 6.4 targets per game before his injury. He'll be a nice RB2 play in PPR leagues.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Redskins. He didn't practice all week and has no timetable for return.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (ankle) remained sidelined on Wednesday. That's 4 straight missed practices. We'll see if Riddick gets back on the field Thursday or Friday, but fantasy owners can't count on having him for this weekend's game against the Redskins.
Lions RB Theo Riddick (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams. We don't have any details on his injury, but he didn't practice all week and might miss additional time. RB Dwayne Washington (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 6 after returning to a limited practice on Friday. If he plays, he'd figure to share the backfield with Zach Zenner and the newly signed Justin Forsett. Unless we get some clarity on this situation between now and kickoff, it's a situation best avoided.
