        Emari Demercado Has High-Ankle Sprain

Cardinals RB Emari Demercado suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Week 11 loss to the 49ers and will "likely" miss Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Demercado will probably miss more time beyond that and can be dropped from fantasy rosters. RB Michael Carter stepped into Demercado's change-of-pace, pass-catching role vs. San Francisco last week, with RB Zonovan Knight handling most of the early-down work. Expect to see that arrangement against Jacksonville, assuming RB Trey Benson remains out.

Jacoby Brissett Sets NFL Record in Another QB1 Performance

        4:23am UTC 11/17/25

Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett completed an NFL-record 47 passes in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Brissett attempted 57 throws in the lopsided defeat, logging 32 of those in the second half. His team didn't fall quite as hopelessly behind San Francisco as it did Seattle the week before. But the Niners did score the first 13 points of the game and lead 25-10 at the half. Brissett went 20-of-25 passing before the break. He finished with 452 yards, 2 TDs, and 2 INTs. Brissett sits third among fantasy QBs for the week ahead of Monday night's game.

        7:36pm UTC 11/16/25

Cardinals RB Bam Knight (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the 49ers. We’re expecting him to lead the backfield in carries, but RB Emari Demercado is a threat to steal work. Avoid this backfield in fantasy lineups if possible.

Bam Knight Expected To Play Week 11

        1:01pm UTC 11/16/25

Cardinals RB Bam Knight (ankle) is expected to play vs. the 49ers today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Knight got in three limited practices this week. We're projecting him to lead Arizona in carries today, but this has been a difficult backfield to peg since RBs James Conner and Trey Benson went down.

Bam Knight Questionable For Week 11

        1:46am UTC 11/15/25

Cardinals RB Bam Knight (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers. We’re tentatively expecting Knight to play but will look for updates on his status. Knight remained ahead of Emari Demercado as Arizona’s lead back before going down last week.

Cardinals RB Bam Knight (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was operating as Arizona's lead back before exiting last week's game, but he mustered just 28 yards on 10 carries. This remains a backfield to try to avoid until RB Trey Benson returns.

        4:47pm UTC 11/12/25

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison underwent surgery for appendicitis and will be out for Sunday's game against the 49ers and potentially longer, according to both NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter. We'll look for a more concrete target for Harrison's return, but he's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues for now.

RB Emari Demercado led the Cardinals in rushing yards for the second straight week in Sunday's loss to Seattle. But nearly all of his ground production came on a single 55-yard run early in the fourth quarter of the blowout defeat. Demercado logged just four total carries, trailing Bam Knight's team lead (10) and leading Michael Carter by just one. WR Greg Dortch scored the team's only rushing TD, from 4 yards out in the second quarter.

Did Jacoby Brissett Disappoint in Week 10 ... or Prove His Fantasy Valor?

        4:43pm UTC 11/10/25

QB Jacoby Brissett endured easily his roughest outing Sunday since taking over for the injured Kyler Murray. He took five sacks in the loss to the Seahawks and lost a pair of fumbles that each got returned for TDs (both by Edge Demarcus Lawrence). Brissett completed just half of his 44 pass attempts for an offense that didn't score until it already trailed 35-0, and even then thanks to Sam Darnold turning the ball over at his own 2-yard line. But Brissett still managed 258 yards and 2 TDs passing, plus another 31 yards on four rushing attempts. He heads into Monday night with the ninth-best fantasy total among QBs for the week, according to ESPN scoring.

Cardinals Activate Walter Nolen, Garrett Williams

        9:16pm UTC 11/3/25

The Cardinals have activated first-round DT Walter Nolen from the PUP list. That should mean Nolen's ready for his first NFL action in tonight's game against the Cowboys. Of course, it's impossible to know how much he'll be ready to play after missing nearly all of training camp and the season's first eight games with a calf injury. But a full-strength Nolen could help the Arizona defense and provide an IDP option for DT-required leagues eventually. Arizona also activated CB Garrett Williams from IR. The starter has been out since Week 2 with a knee injury. He's not a high-impact player in real or fantasy terms but could help the defense in general.

Jacoby Brissett To Start Week 9, Kyler Murray To Have A Role?

        4:17pm UTC 11/1/25

Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett will start Monday night's game vs. the Cowboys, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. QB Kyler Murray, who has been limited in practice this week, is "making progress" in his recovery from his sprained foot and "could have a role" against Dallas. We hear about teams potentially playing two QBs every so often -- and it rarely actually happens. We're projecting Brissett to play every snap in this cushy matchup, making him a strong QB2 and even a low-end spot-starter in 1-QB leagues. The news doesn't tangibly impact either WR Marvin Harrison Jr. or TE Trey McBride. Both guys are strong Week 9 starts.

Another Start Coming For Jacoby Brissett?

        6:25pm UTC 10/31/25

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot) was on the field for the start of Friday's practice, but QB Jacoby Brissett was throwing to the first-team WRs, according to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss. HC Johnathan Gannon expressed optimism about Murray's Week 9 status on Thursday morning, but Murray was limited in practice later that day. It's now looking like Brissett will get another start on Monday night vs. Dallas. Brissett played well in two starts prior to the Cardinals' bye, throwing for 599 yards, four TDs, and one INT on 7.5 yards per attempt. He's at least a strong QB2 in this dream matchup against the Cowboys and could even be a serviceable QB1 spot starter.

Kyler Murray On Track To Play Week 9

        6:33pm UTC 10/30/25

Cardinals HC Jonathan Gannon said Thursday that the team is preparing for QB Kyler Murray (foot) to start vs. the Cowboys on Monday night. Murray missed Arizona's last two games, and then got another week off with the bye. He'll return for a dream matchup against the Cowboys' 32nd-ranked QB defense. All eight QBs to face Dallas this season have finished top-13 at the position in fantasy points on the week, including five top-six finishes. Cardinals Bringing Michael Carter Back?

        1:12pm UTC 10/28/25

The Cardinals plan on re-signing RB Michael Carter, according to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss. Carter was released on Monday, but it sounds like it was a procedural move. And that makes sense considering his departure leaves only Bam Knight and Emari Demercado (who missed Arizona's last game back in Week 7) in the RB room. We'll let you know if and when the Carter re-signing becomes official. Knight is still worth adding where available as the likely lead back for Monday night's game vs. the Cowboys' 31st-ranked RB defense. Carter, assuming he re-joins the team, will be on the RB3/Flex radar for that one.
