Patriots RB Sony Michel (quad) will play against the Cardinals today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It'll be Michel's 1st action since Week 3. Rapoport says Michel is expected to "split carries" with Damien Harris -- but adds that Harris will remain the "bell cow." Ok then. We still like Harris as a RB2 today and will monitor Michel's role.
Titans TE Jonnu Smith suffered an ankle injury in the 2nd half of Sunday's game against the Ravens and is questionable to return. It's unclear if this is the same ankle that bothered Smith earlier this season. Stay tuned for an update.
Update: Smith returned to the game.
Dolphins LB Kyle Van Noy (hip) is active for today's game against the Broncos. Use him as you normally would in IDP lineups.
Basically any questionable Patriots defensive player in play for IDP use is active today vs. Houston. That includes CB Stephon Gilmore (knee), LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (groin), DE Deatrich Wise (knee, hand), DE John Simon (elbow) and DE Lawrence Guy (shoulder, elbow, knee).
Patriots RB Damien Harris (ankle, chest) is active for today’s game against the Texans. RB Sony Michel (quad) is INACTIVE, despite being placed on the roster this week. So Harris remains locked in as New England’s primary ball-carrier for this plus matchup.
The Patriots expect RB Damien Haris (ankle, chest) to play against the Texans today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Harris comes off a 100-yard game against the Ravens to get a top scoring matchup and makes for a nice fantasy play.
The Patriots have activated RB Sony Michel off of injured reserve. He hasn’t appeared in a game since Week 3 due to a quad injury. Michel also spent time on the COVID-19 reserve list. In his absence, Damien Harris has tallied 3 games of 100+ rushing yards. Even if Michel is active for Week 11, he won’t warrant a start in fantasy leagues.
Dolphins LB Kyle Van Noy (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos. We'll check his status Sunday morning, but Van Noy returned to last week's game after suffering the injury and participated in the week's final 2 practices.
Let's just list the Patriots defensive players who are questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans:
LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (groin)
DE Deatrich Wise (knee, hand)
DE John Simon (elbow)
DE Lawrence Guy (shoulder, elbow, knee)
CB Stephon Gilmore (knee)
Gilmore sounds like he expects to return after missing the past 3 games. None of these guys makes for a strong IDP play, but we'll check all their statuses Sunday morning.
Patriots WR N’Keal Harry (concussion) is active for tonight’s game against the Ravens. Last year’s 1st-rounder has totaled just 6 catches for 61 yards over his past 4 games.
Patriots RB Damien Harris (chest, ankle) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Ravens. Banged up and in a bad matchup, Harris is a weak fantasy play.
Patriots RB Damien Harris is "hopeful to play" against the Ravens tonight, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He'll be "closely monitored" in pre-game workouts to make sure there are no setbacks with his ankle or chest injuries. Harris remains a risky play with a low floor and low ceiling in a bad matchup. Avoid him if you can.
The Dolphins have activated LB Kyle Van Noy off the COVID list, which puts him back in line to play Sunday against the Chargers. We've got him back in the Week 10 LB rankings.
The multitude of questionable Patriots for Sunday night's game against the Ravens includes DE Deatrich Wise, DE John Simon, LB Ja'Whaun Bentley and CB Stephon Gilmore. None of the 4 saw meaningful changes to their practice participation vs. last week. Gilmore and Bentley missed that game (against the Jets. Wise and Simon played through questionable tags.
Ravens OLB Matt Judon (calf) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Patriots. After opening the week missing practice, Judon put in a limited Thursday workout and participated in full on Friday. That bodes well for his game status. Unfortunately, the Sunday night kickoff leaves you few options if you hope to wait for him. Baltimore also ruled out DE Calais Campbell (calf), as expected.
Patriots WR N’Keal Harry (concussion) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Ravens. It looks like he still has work to do to clear through the protocol. Harry shouldn’t be in your Week 10 fantasy plans. WR Julian Edelman (knee) remains out, leaving Jakobi Meyers as New England’s top WR.
Patriots RB Damien Harris (chest) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Ravens. Between the late kickoff, the injury and the tough matchup, Harris is better off on fantasy benches this week.
San Francisco GM John Lynch said Friday that WR Kendrick Bourne has been cleared to travel with the team for Sunday's game in New Orleans. That precedes word of Bourne being activated from the COVID list -- after he returned to it Monday -- but suggests that is coming. Expect Bourne to be in the lineup against New Orleans. That doesn't make him anything more than a low-level PPR option, but it also likely pushes Week 9 star Richie James back to reserve status.
Patriots RB Damien Harris (chest, ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice. Harris was knocked out of Monday night's win over the Jets, but it looks like he at least has a chance to play against the Ravens on Sunday night. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.
Patriots RB Damien Harris left in the 4th quarter of Monday night's game against the Jets with a chest injury. The team deemed him questionable to return. We'll see about the severity of the injury this week. RB Sony Michel (quad) should be nearing a return from IR.
